She crafted a beautiful menu for us that included mini (single-bite) sized tacos as part of the hors d'oeuvres and an upscale barbeque with hometown roots for the entree. Day of Event - Arrival / Setup: Lena and the two waiters she came with arrived on time and quickly settled in and got to work to help set the room / table up. Some of our guests had special dietary needs such as being gluten free or certain food allergies and Ali was easily able to accommodate them so that there were lots of choices. I know things can happen but he did not use the word "emergency" when leaving his message that he was canceling. Fortunately I have world's greatest nephew so he took me to an amazing Italian restaurant, instead, for my birthday, after we spent a glorious day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And he bought me beautiful earrings. He really is the greatest nephew. I had a wonderful birthday. When considering this business, I think it's important to know that canceling can, and does, happen, and apparently in the absence of an emergency.
