Andrea was sweet and included a 10% off for cookies. I ordered two dozen cookies for my sister's birthday. I ordered the Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Loaded Chocolate Cookies. They are very filling. Perfectly packed cookies of two in a box which were perfect because it was so easy for me to pass out! Thank you so much Andrea! I think one tip is to have a venmo account or post it to your Instagram or website so people can easily Venmo a tip! I didn't see a tip option available when I placed my order and I totally forgot my cash!

Did a Yelp virtual event with the owner of the bakery where we picked up kits from the creative space then had a zoom meeting where she taught us how to decorate them. She explained things very well and the cupcakes turned out great! The buttercream was flavorful and wasn't super sweet.

I purchased the Kitchen Sink Cookie and the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie at the Small Business Saturday Food and Craft Fair and both were amazing. I would highly recommend getting a few to try the next time they pop up!

Large, very clean. All of the employees were friendly. It has a little bit of everything. It has a bakery, sandwiches, soups, stews, other items as well. They even serve an afternoon tea. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

I know it looked good in the pictures but i didnt know it was this good hahaha i think im gonna have to say this is the best fancy elevated donut i ever had! The mango cream is light and not too sweet, the donut is fluffy like always but what took it over the top was there was actually sticky rice and a mango puree when you bit in!!! Like what?!? They don't label the price or name directly in front of the donuts. EGD makes some really good and creative donuts. The donuts taste fresh and are very airy, not cake like. They don't usually sell out early unless it's an initial release of a new donut. Service is good, the line goes pretty quick and there's usually two people helping if it gets busy. They don't have labels on the donuts so you'll need to ask them how much. The prices are shown on top by the ceiling but you won't know which donut correlates to which price. Overall good donuts with a tad bit higher pricing. I spent about $43 bucks for 6 donuts and a dozen donut holes. My main thing to get here is just the donut holes and regular donuts.

I would say the only thing I would like added is a confirmation the day before pickup letting me know the order was ready. But other than that the whole process was very smooth . The bakery itself is very cute and full of delicious looking treats. The staff was friendly as well. I ordered a carrot cake and it was so amazing! My sister loved it! It was very moist, spiced just right and had a lot of the cream cheese frosting that everyone loves! But it also wasn't extremely sweet which I appreciated. QUITE A FEW people at the party stated that they were not normally fans of carrot cake because of the big chunks of nuts and raisins in it...but RAVED about how they loved this carrot cake (it didn't have those things)! They were sad to find out that the bakery is in Sacramento (the party was in the East Bay). I would definitely order from them again and I highly recommend. Thank you Freeport Bakery!

Got both the chocolate and the raisin walnut cinnamon. Prefer the raisin as the whole thing tasted less dry. Bd enjoyed the biscotti but next time I'll get him the one dipped in chocolate. The orange and raspberry cookie with the almond paste was lovely! Crumbly melty when you bite into it, nice texture and not too sweet. Pb chocolate chip was the most generic. Wouldn't get it again. Have yet to try the slice of salted caramel cake which was recommended to try at room temperature. I meant to order a chocolate cake because of their rave reviews! Next time!

However, the owner is super passionate with his work and is originally from Japan so you know he perfected his products before opening this bakery. Asides from this one, this family business has other stores in Japan and India. My favorite is the sweet cream cheese even though Mahoroba is known for their Kobe cream, which are both stuffed with fillings. You can say that they don't skimp. It's hard to leave without purchasing a box of goodies even though they do run out super early, especially on the weekends. If you aren't big on sweets, they have savory items. The meatball pan is my favorite the meatballs just does really well with the bread. Not going to lie, but I used to work here when they first opened in 2009 and I would never get tired of eating the meatball pan or the green tea melon pan during my break. After all these years, I would have a craving from time to time so I always return and say hello to the owner. Besides, they make a lovely goodie box for a party and I always throw in a bag of dinner rolls because the quality of their bread is so soft and delicious. I'll be lucky if I still have 1/4 of the bag by the time I get home.

They have a few tables and some claw machines if you want to hang out. I got a DIY boba drink for the great price of $6.50! I asked the staff if they could refill the mango popping boba. He did it right away and even filled up my cup with a generous portion before stocking the bar. Choose your flavor tea (milk or fruit) and seal. I love this concept, even though it's not the best boba you will ever drink. I got Thai tea without added sweetner and it was very mild in flavor and thinner consistency as most Thai teas.
