Carrie B. was absolutely AWFUL!!! I have shopped at this particular NBC location numerous times, as well as others, and have always had a great experience. But NOT today. I walked in with another customer and the store/counter was empty. Carrie came out and didn't greet either one of us. The other customer had a pre-order and it wasn't ready. She didn't apologize for that and took SO long to complete it. She literally moved like a turtle and the customer was not happy. He pre-ordered it and needed it then. While we were waiting, 2 other customers came in. By the time she got to me (8 minutes later), she didn't apologize for the wait or make any of us feel welcome. I purchased 5 bundlet cakes - 3 of which were going to be put in a "triple tower" - and picked out the accessories for it. She rang me up and then proceeded to tell me she'd complete my order after she helped the 2 customers! WTH!!! Finish my order! She proceeded to talk to the other 2 customers - both of whom had online orders. She had to make 1 of them because it also wasn't ready. Again, NO apologies for anything! Especially to me for ignoring me and my purchase!! I just stood there in disbelief. Her attitude was terrible and she didn't thank any of us for our purchases, orders, etc. I submitted the NBC online survey and hope she is spoken to by management and reprimanded. read more

Always a treat to bring home a bundtlet cake. And even better when they have some promotions going on. My only issue is that I wish they stayed open past 6 PM because honestly sometimes I want a sweet treat at 8 PM. easy to order online and pick up. Today the customer service rep had called me because my flavor was out of stock which I thought was very nice. They had a substitution for me which I truly appreciated. The whole interaction was outstanding honestly. I like that they were proactive before I even got there. The cake is always fresh and moist. Love the frosting. Spotless inside. parking right out front, but sometimes it can be a challenge with all the restaurants in the gym but just be patient. Reasonably priced overall. read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes always makes a party! Whether you are buying their mini Bundt cakes or their larger sizes for the whole group, these are delicious. They even offer a minimal gluten-free selection. As these are moist cakes with frosting, you are always going to deal with a sweetness issue. I tend to eat the cake or mini cake with just a tiny little touch of the frosting. The frosting especially kicks it over the top. However, it is still worth the effort. There are seasonal flavors as well as standard flavors so you can keep it interesting for more than one event per year. This company has been around for a very long time. There are multiple locations and you can order ahead which I recommend especially for larger orders or parties. read more

A red velvet Bundt cake was purchased for my birthday and paid for and picked up by my elderly parents. Once they were at the store (local to their house- they had ordered here before and had a good experience) and they gave the information to the employee, the employee apologized and said they did not have an order for them. At that point, my mom pulled up proof of purchase and showed it to the employee. The employee just kept insisting that they didn't have an order. After seeing the proof of purchase, I really don't know why this was such a difficult concept for the employee who was working. After a long time waiting and a lot of back-and-forth, they finally gave the cake (apparently a backup one they had in the freezer) to my parents and told them, "well- I guess we're just giving you a FREE cake. " my mom was furious as she absolutely paid for the cake -- and she showed this worker the checking account where the money had already been withdrawn. Clearly there was a lack of follow-through on part of the employee who took the order over the phone. If management would like to connect with me through yelp, I would be happy to discuss further. It sounds like the employees of the store need better training but this is no way to treat a paying customer-- to act as if they are trying to pull a fast one which, in this case couldn't be further from the truth. read more

First of all, I love nothing Bundt cakes in general! I went cake tasting for my wedding to many bakeries in Orange County. To my surprise I found nothing Bundt cake was superior to anything I tasted that day. I went to the Laguna Hills store to see if I could place an order. They were very helpful and let me know the San Clemente store was closer to my venture so Laguna Hills called the other store and put my order in. I received an email confirmation from San Clemente. The bundtinis were perfect absolutely delicious people loved them, and there were gluten free options. We had white chocolate raspberry, snickerdoodle, and the gluten free option. They even provided free delivery to our venue since it was for a wedding. I am so pleased and the price and quality were better than anything I could have wished for. We still did the traditional cake cutting with a Bundt cake topped with a bundtlet. read more

No CASH ACCEPTED! Has to be exact amount. I was just in your store and tried to purchase approximately $29.00 worth of cakes, cashiers refused cash because of COVID 19. Apparently they only take Apple Pay. Well I don't use Apple Pay or any other type of auto pay. I asked the cashier if she could put some gloves on, so I could pay in cash and she could give me change. Established in 1997.

To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection. And perfection are those decadent, slowly melting bites, we all know and love. Flash forward and the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand has grown nationwide. Built on Dena and Debbie's vision, each bakery still has the warmth and nostalgia of its home-kitchen roots, but they also take a modern approach for the world today.

I arrived a little early for my 5:00 PM pickup, went inside and grabbed four cookies, then waited outside for about 20 minutes until my pizza was ready. When I got back in the car, I opened the box (because who can resist?) and was a little disappointed that the pizza was already cool. Not a huge deal, but I was definitely hoping for it to be fresh and warm. Once I got home, I also noticed the potato & chive pizza seemed to have ricotta instead of the mozzarella listed on the menu. It still looked good, but it wasn't what I was expecting. We sampled all four cookies, taking just a bite of each, and unfortunately they all seemed pretty dry. I'm wondering if we may have gotten a batch that had been sitting since it was later in the day. Overall, this visit didn't quite live up to the hype I'd built up in my head, but I'm not writing them off. They've been on my list for a long time, and I'm definitely willing to give them another shot. Hopefully next time I'll get a hot pizza and fresher cookies!

Yet, this place was still pack and parking was full. (We found street parking near Starbucks) I had my staff placed our name down since she lives closer, but they won't see you until all your party is here and that's fine. We ended up seating at the bar and left the booth for other parties. Love the teamwork, the staff were super stars doing a rush like that, let me tell you it PACKED HOUSE and we got our food and drinks on time, no one in my party had to wait to eat and I forgot to take pictures of my staff meals, only took mines and what I got for the table to share was a croissant french toast, which I believe was their special of the day. I got the chicken fried steak and the portion are MASSIVE!!! All of us took our food home because the portion size are insanely big and bang for the buck!! Great place to eat breakfast or brunch or even a 'Team Building Breakfast Time' LOL Just happy to treating out my amazing staff on their work.
