So when I called Carters they informed me that they indeed make them fresh I was so excited. It was a last minuet order and they still managed to accommodate me, I was so thankful because I was ordering all the way from California. They had them delivered on my Dads birthday .. he was just over the Moon. Both of my parents couldn't believe they were sugar free.. THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!!! I just wanted to give the shop a huge thank you for such great customer service and for making these cupcakes so delicious..

We picked up the apple pie after looking over the other items. The owner said they are in the early discussions of baking bread to include sourdough items. We can't wait for the fresh baked bread. As far as our apple pie, it's delicious! Apples are fresh with a bit sweet and sour tasting and with a fresh crisp bite not like that soft mushy texture like you get with store boughten pies baked who knows where and shipped in. The store is clean, bright, smells like a bakery and easily accessible with parking right out front.

The red velvet: frosting is better than the strawberry's, nice classic cream cheese frosting. The cupcake itself has good flavor but wonder how long it has been there because tastes a little dry. Banana cupcake: Best of the three. I would say come early because when we got there around 5:00PM, there wasn't a lot left. Person who served us was nice and patient when my fiance and I were making our decision on the limited selection. Location isn't best for them: we had never seen the shop before until I looked up direction to Cakes in A Cup and we pulled up to the store front. Not much to attract people except that store. Oh and they have more than cupcakes. They have ice cream and also cookies I think...

Ok, so to be fair San Angelo doesn't really have much to offer in the way of cupcakery's that have…read morean actual storefront - so kudos for someone trying to venture out. I'll start with the good: - decent variety of flavors - two sizes - not too too pricey - takes custom orders - easy to order by phone - pretty decorations on cupcakes Now the needs-improvement: _ #1: MOVE LOCATIONS. They are not in a prime spot, but that could be overlooked. The real problem is the neighboring a nail salon and the chemical smells completely overpower the bakery smell to the point of nausea. I don't know how the girls bake in there with that smell. Move, move move!! - cupcakes were dry - website is outdated (I tried submitting a contact form and never heard back from anyone - was told they don't have access to the website since they bought the company from old owner. I HIGHLY recommend they either gain access or ask the previous owner to shut the site down) - it has flavors and pricing they no longer carry so it's misleading. - photos on website are prettier (and different) that what you get when you order - seemed like every cupcake was pretty much an iced and decorated version of banana bread, chocolate or vanilla (obviously with the exception of the strawberry or red velvet). It's not awful but I have experienced (MUCH) better cupcakes (and actually from this cupcakery BEFORE it was sold to the current owners). I don't think it's a total failure and with a few adjustments they could probably make some improvements for the better. Truth be told. if I needed cupcakes in the near future, I would look for other options before I tried them again just to see if this town has something a little better to offer.

The main reason I stopped in here earlier this year was to discuss my ideas for my wedding cakes. I had gone to one other place, but didn't feel that the other once was really listening to me, or needed or wanted my business. The minute I started talking about my idea if multiple cakes and different cookies and bars or our wedding table, she knew exactly what I wanted and seemed just as excited as I was about the creation. I just had my wedding a few weeks ago, delivery was on time, and my 6 cakes could not have been more perfect looking and rated Devine! The cookies were adorable as were the lemon bars and magic bars. We had SO many compliments, I could not have been happier. I will use Coco's for all of my baking needs in the future! When I picked them up the presentation was sloppy (looked like a five year old had made and decorated them) and tasted horrible. No one wanted to eat more than one. She also left them out at room temperature and the cream cheese icing was melting off of the cupcakes. When I talked to her about it the next day, she hollered and yelled at me over the phone. Then called back and said it was because she had had a busy week. No one deserves that type of treatment or product. I will be taking my business to other bakeries in the area.

He helped us pick a few things off the menu, and everything we got was really good. The food came out fresh and the atmosphere had a nice, relaxed vibe. The only downside was the drinks took about 15 minutes to come out. Matthew apologized and let us know there was only one bartender working, so we understood. It was a little longer than we expected, but when they finally came out they were made perfectly. I had a margarita on the rocks and my sister had a Passion Cosmo, and we both liked them.
