Last week I ordered a birthday cake for a cloistered nun, to be delivered to a monastery in Des Plaines. The owner or manager who took the order was given specific delivery instructions and designed my order, assuring me that it would be delivered correctly. She was pleasant, caring and thorough. However, on the day it was to be delivered I received a text from an Uber driver stating that the cake was undeliverable. I phoned the shop and got an employee who said that she remembered the order and that the Uber driver was given detailed directions, yet there was no manager on site and there was nothing she could do. Nadine then said she would try to reach the manager to troubleshoot. She phoned me back minutes later. Likely, she did not reach a manger, but said that she asked another employee to come in and cover for her while she personally delivers the cake. A business's success is dependent on its employees. They are its heart and determine whether or not it will build loyal customers and succeed. I really love this place for a quick treat in between running errands. My favorite to go to is the lemon 8 inch Bundt Cake. I was shopping in the area and decided to have a sweet treat in between stores. I ended up getting my usual lemon cake. I was so disappointed again since the store didn't have any spoons or forks. I should've remembered it from last time when I grabbed one of their cakes in Deerfield. I just don't understand why a place like this wouldn't have plastic utensils?? I ordered a cake for a retirement celebration and the online ordering system is easy to navigate. The cake was ready on time and nicely packaged and decorated. I ordered an 8 inch cake and when I picked it up it was smaller than I expected, but it was more than enough for 10 people. We picked up a snickerdoodle cake for a birthday party. It had a good flavor and plenty of frosting. The large was bigger than we needed and so we have plenty of leftovers. The bundt cakes are are extremely moist and the flavors are good without being too sweet. The cakes come in elegant packages that make them feel like a premium experience. 5+ stars for the white chocolate raspberry cake. We live in WA state and ordered a 8" Bundt cake with a little bit of icing for my mom's birthday and had it delivered. When we asked her how it was she replied "it was one of the best cakes I've ever had...it was super moist, great flavor and the perfect amount of icing because I don't like a ton of sweetness...it was decadent!" Literally the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the delivery fee was 1/3 the cost of the cake. $15 is steep for delivery when the cake costs $29. Nothing Bundt Cakes is a wonderful place to grab some decadent little cakes. This location is in the Randhurst Mall complex and has plenty of parking to run in and get your fix. The place was pretty empty when I went mid day and the staff walked me through the different options. There were samples out and they were willing to let me try anything I wanted. They specialize in only bundt cakes, so don't expect a full service bakery. That being said, they do a great job on their signature cakes! I chose a few of the mini bundt cakes which cost about $5 each. These are the size of a large cupcake, but are super rich. The cakes are amazing - moist, sweet and completely indulgent. They have a variety of sizes and the larger cakes are upwards of $40 each. If you are looking for something ridiculously tasty and not your standard cake then check this place out! read more

Went to this location twice. The cakes are delicious! Consistent with the chain so that's a plus. My first introduction to this addiction was in San Diego and thankfully it has caught on here & opening up all over. The bundts - oh my word! Moist, light, flavorful, and the cream cheese frosting! I wish I could just order a bowl of the frosting & crumble cake crumbs on top as sprinkles. Worth the money and the Red Velvet is our go-to bundt. The location - needs improvement. Twice I've ordered the bundtlets and twice I've had to return because my bag was missing one or two. Today I returned back in the rain and was asked if I was charged for the extra one (I ordered 5 flavors so it was the 4 pack plus one). Yes I was. I don't make it a lifestyle to cheat people out of a $3.99 item (or just cheat people for stuff in general - not worth the hassle). In any case I got my 5th flavor and a polite sorry. Next time and all times - check your order carefully before you leave. Last time I got home and noticed I was missing two, I called and drove back with my bag and receipt. So, we took a trip to the bakery and the staff was so pleasant. I think her name was Ashley who helped us. She told us that they had lemon cake samples and she didn't have to tell us twice. My boss introduced me to this place and I feel in love with it since! I became a regular, kind of. As it does get pricey. I even received their punch card where I get a punch in the card for every bundlet and bundtinis I purchase. I believe the 13th one is free. I've already received a free dozen of bundtinis. This isn't the only location I've gone to and know there's a chain of them. I'm very happy of the consistency and don't need to worry about how one bundt cake will taste from another location. It's so moist, not super sweet and love how you can get them decorated or wrapped as gifts for an additional cost. I have given them out as gifts as well. My favorite flavor is the strawberry and cream, but unfortunately they're only available in the summer time. I've been getting this flavor for my mom's birthday every year in June and she loves it! They have all different size bundt cakes even little tiny ones that are about the size of a cupcake. They have a good selection of different flavors.
