The wall decals were cool, showing all Forney services and sport teams. Some cute designs of the food spread around and a cute floral backdrop for photos. We tried; the red velvet cheesecake, Nutella churro sticks, coconut cream banana pudding, caramel apple cobbler, sweet peachy tea and the cold rush coffee. I know with a grand opening, a lot of the food was pre made.. so I'd like to come back and try the items FRESH. The red velvet cheesecake, was just plain cheesecake with a cut out of red velvet cake on top.. dry I might add. We LOVE red velvet so this was disappointing. The churro sticks, my boyfriend and I had different opinions. He likes them with a crunch. I don't, I like them soft. I did love the coconut cream banana pudding. It wasn't heavy on the coconut, everything blended well together. My boyfriend tried the cobbler, he likes when they have actual apple not just a piece and flavoring of apple. He was very satisfied with the amount given. The ice cream was melted half way out the door.. The cold rush coffee was delicious, tasted like an actual strong coffee drink not some Starbucks overly sweet drink. The peachy tea... was way too sweet and honestly tasted like passion fruit NOT peach.

This year we tried to order the same size but were convinced it would be too small. It wasn't. We wasted half of the cake and it was thrown out. I shouldn't have listened to the lady upselling me and going against my better judgement. The cake was just a centerpiece because we had 50 gourmet cupcakes on towers ordered from another shop. However, the taste was good and the decoration was exactly how my daughter wanted it. The daughter of the owner is extremely kind, I can't say the same for some of the employees who answer the phone; basic manners and customer service are significantly lacking. I don't think I'll be back because the price has gone up significantly. I can get a gourmet, beautifully decorated cake from a European bakery for less.

She also mentioned that she had only been working there for about 3 weeks, so she wasn't able to give me much information.
