I visited Donutland late on a Sunday morning with my wife and son and had an overall pleasant experience. They were understandably low on stock, so my wife and I pivoted to kolaches, which was a solid move. She ordered a sausage and jalapeno kolache, which she raved about. I ordered a large sausage and bacon kolache, which was delicious and filling. It was a fine meat to pastry ratio- nobody wants a kolache with a ton of pastry and a tiny bit of meat. My young son naturally chose a frosted donut with sprinkles and a little toy in the middle. He eagerly ate it. I also bought a vanilla frosted cake donut and a vanilla fronted glazed donut to eat later. We had some donut holes, which are absurdly cheap- 6 for $0.99. The donuts were all decent, but nothing stood out to me. I definitely need to stop by earlier in the day for a better selection. The shop was clean and the staff was pleasant, although they were cleaning up the store pretty intensely while we were there, 60 minutes before closing. Bottom line- kolaches were great, donuts are all right, it's ridiculously cheap (most donuts are just over a dollar), and it's conveniently located right off of I-30 on a frontage road. If you're passing by and in the mood for a quick breakfast or snack, it's a solid choice. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since moving to TX. The name is unoriginal but the donuts inside are certainly unique. There was a pretty decent lengthed line when I arrived Friday morning. At around 9a they were already out of a lot of their stock: I got an assortment of 6 glazed and 6 I randomly chose. These donuts didn't last the weekend. My favorite was the blueberry one pictured. It was the last one of its kind left. The dough they use is very light and fluffy . I believe it had cream cheese icing. I wish they had some jelly filled. I'll try to go earlier next time to get a larger array of options! Staff was not super friendly and the inside of the establishment is unremarkable. It's less than 10 mins from my home so I'll definitely return. read more

This place is the best. Besides the best customer service all of their food is amazing. You walk in and are Instantly greeted. Plus, if you go there enough lol they remember you. . We have tried the kolaches which are perfect and well as the rest of their savory options and they are great. The layout is nice too cause you can see everything plus you can see them making them so you know they are fresh. But, the donuts you just can't best them. They are light and fluffy and not dense at all. When you see a bit of a line you know you are not the only one that lives this place. A nice variety too. read more

The doughnuts here are pretty good. Light and airy and fluffy. Love the custard filling that has a good sweet taste. Maple Long John's with custard is really good. Got a dozen donuts mixed with glaze, chocolate covered, cake - red velvet, blueberry, old fashioned cinnamon was awesome. Customer service is super friendly, it's probably the most friendly donut shop I've ever been to!!! Haven't tried the kolaches yet, but did try the cheese melt it was also good. read more

I've been here a handful of times and the owners and employees are always really sweet, respectful, and ready to get your order made with a smile on their face. They have a wide selection of different donuts, Kolache's, and drinks to choose from. Hot coffee in the pot to make yourself up a cup on the way out. Or choose from a selection of milk,juices, and sodas to complete your order, they have it. The store is well kept and I can tell this family take pride in their store. The overall vibe you get from the employees makes the visits very welcoming. Not that I need to be eating donuts everyday but they really nailed the , "customer experience". And everything my husband and I have had here is great tasting with a great price too. Keep up the good work here you all! read more

On my search to find the best overall donut shop around the area...this one ranks pretty high. We got there around 9am and selection was low so be early. Read velvet and apple fritter were really good. Mom liked the cinnamon bites. She didn't care for the croissant with sausage and bacon. I really like the small sausage roll. Donuts and kolachies are great, they have all the usual flavors for donuts but also offer unique ones and sometimes even have little kid rings in the sprinkle covered ones which my kids enjoy. Really the only place we go to get donuts now, everything else we have tried just doesn't compare. And this place is always busy no matter how early I try to go! read more

I want so badly to give Donutland 5 stars. Their donuts are very good, BUT the last few times I've been in, they've over charged me. The first time I didn't realize it until later, and I chalked it up to them being busy and it just being a mistake. No problem. The next time, I figured hmmm, again? But I didn't want to make a stink about a few bucks in front of other people. But then I was charged $8 for 4 chocolate glazed donuts today, plus other things (charged correctly), and nobody else was even in the store at the time. I got home and realized it when I saw the receipt. It's always the same older lady that does it, and they have quite the racket going. Nobody pays attention to the receipts when they check out, they just assume they're being charged correctly. If she adds a dollar or two to every few transactions, nobody's the wiser, and she makes quite the haul at the end of the day. SHADY. Won't be back. read more

We got there about 5:20am. Jalapeno kolaches were awesome! We got them as they were coming out of the oven. Mini kolaches were eaten up by my 6 yr old. Apple fritters were delish. Haven't had anything we didn't like. read more
