You can easily order the day before which is what I did this time. Ordered a flavor of the month which was a S'mores flavor and the newest gluten free raspberry lemon flavor. Easy. Paid online and picked up the next day. It's easy to park and get into the building. It's a cute little shoppe. Lots of party favors and little gifts. They have the different styles on display right inside the door. Took it to the birthday party that evening and enjoyed it. Forgot to get a picture of the cake, but they are always picture perfect. It was delicious. The icing is so rich and one of the best parts. I know its a chain, but really it's delicious and hard to beat. My personal favorite is still the lemon blueberry which is seasonal. read more

Great cake, tastes amazing, but it's expensive and not worth what they charge. I'll never turn down a piece of cake from here when I'm at a gathering, but I won't pay what they're charging. I've had box cakes from the store that were just as good. You shouldn't have to spend $40-$60 bucks for a good product. It was $64 for two of their large cakes, I felt kind of retarded after the fact when I thought about how much I paid. I could have sworn I had previously reviewed this yummy place. My husband and I stumbled upon them at a Home show in Des Moines and was treated with a sample and have been hooked ever since. My waist line thanks me for not living close to this place or I may visit more often. I have tried a few flavors, but my ultimate favorite is the red velvet. All the cakes have the same perfectly textured and sweetness frosting on them. I love that they have different size options as they make great gifts for others. I ordered 2 cakes from here to celebrate my US citizenship (after over 2 decades!). Ordering online was extremely easy and convenient, and my husband was able to pick these up with no problem. The cakes were absolutely delicious, I got a chocolate one and a pecan one, and they looked beautiful, and my guests devoured these cakes. Everyone was really delighted with them and kept asking me where I had gotten them. Truly an excellent choice for any party cake. Sweet baby Jesus. I discovered this store when I lived in Nashville, and it was totally a matter of chance that I stumbled upon their Des Moines location after moving to Iowa and going through serious withdrawals. Their cakes are the most moist, fluffy, purely heavenly things I've ever tasted, and their frosting. OH their frosting! Don't even get me started on their frosting. My husband and I have attempted many a copycat recipe, and while they're delicious in their own right, they never quite do the frosting justice. So until I find the perfect at-home version, I'll just make this my #1 priority with every Des Moines trip I take. The store is adorable, and look to the right when you walk in. There are usually samples! I've yet to find a flavor I don't like, but their chocolate chocolate chip is my go-to flavor. I wish I was joking, but I'm already craving one just from writing this review, and I had a bundtlet yesterday. So yeah. It's good stuff. Nothing Bundt Cakes is a cute bakery Just off University Avenue. I've had 3 of there cakes and they are wonderful. The Carrot Cake is pretty good, but the Red Velvet is AMAZING. It has a few chocolate chips in there for just a tiny crunch. The cake is extremely moist, which is something I always love in cake. The employees are always very kind and nice. Cute little shop that reminds me of country chic with lots of nice accessory type merchandise for sale... but let's get to the Bundt cakes! They are priced right at $4 per individual Bundt cake, which is a large individual serving. The cake was deliciously moist with the perfect amount of frosting. The hole part of the Bundt cake is also filled with delicious creamy frosting. I would recommend that the chocolate chips in the chocolate chocolate go from regular sized to mini. First visit: I stopped in after work today and was pleasantly surprised they had samples for their pumpkin spice and chocolate chip Bundt cakes. After tasting them both I knew that I had to take them home. I also brought home a red velvet cake and confetti cake. Although I did not actually stop by the shop, I feel the need to write a short review. My mom picked me up a marble bundt cake when she went to check the place out. Not only did it LOOK too good to eat, it was one of the best cakes I've had in a long time. It was so soft, flavorful, and the buttercream frosting was undeniably sweet and delectable! Doing things the Iowa way! Called to ask what cakes they had available as they have seasonal cakes and when we go in they do not have the normal selection (This is a great franchise) but Iowa people do things differently and that means they do not do things like the franchise wants. The only Nothing Bundt cakes I have ever been to that does not have spoons (Iowa people are cheap) so if you choose to eat it on the way then you need to go somewhere else to get a spoon. Called many times and asked what cakes are available and the usual statement is "All of them" this is because Iowa people are way to lazy to even explain what they have. This is a great VEGAS FRANCHISE that does things well most places but this location is far from like most. We will never be back and being as the Iowa hours they keep (Iowa hours are very short hours) I cannot see them making it. Checked this place out and loved it! The bundt cakes I am used to are dry and crumbly. These are the opposite. They are SO moist and have a wonderful soft texture. I fell in love immediately. I had the white chocolate raspberry, strawberries and cream, and pecan praline . They were all delicious and my favorite is the strawberries and cream! I love the sizes of cakes to choose from. You can have a mini one for under slightly under $4 or bigger ones as well for fair prices. The setting of the place is very cute and vibrant. I highly recommend these cakes! They are dense, very moist and frosted with thick cream cheese frosting. These cakes are rich and absolutely delicious ! When you walk in they let you know there are samples to try in the corner, which were 2 different flavors of their bundt cakes and made me want to try more! The flavors that day were the vanilla confetti and pumpkin with cream cheese frosting, both were sooooo good. They have different size options for you to buy or have made. There were many flavors that were already made and ready to be bought and were $4.50 each, and would be good to eat alone (might take 2 sittings) or share. I tried a double chocolate that I loved!
