We buy a variety of bundt cakes from this location for a variety of reasons, but this past year, we've noticed "subtle" changes, and we started to cut back. This time, it robbed us of an important occasion in our lives. We pass at least a dozen bakeries that offer fresh and beautiful specialty cakes, but our daughter insisted on getting her favorite bundt cake from here for her college graduation party. First, I called to inquire about a reasonable timeline for ordering. That in itself was a rude experience. The customer service was zero! I ordered online. It was an easy process. I was able to order the size and flavor, add graduation decorations in UNT colors, pay in advance, and select a pickup date and time. Next was pick-up day. The process was easy, but the parking was a nightmare. FYI: The area has minimal parking and 2 handicap spots for the entire shopping area, plus this was during a popular holiday. I had to park a block away. The real disappointment was the moment we had been waiting for .. our daughters excitement for her cake. Yes, the cake was decorated beautifully, and it made for amazing showy pictures, but when it was time to serve the cake .. our guests' jaws dropped. We ordered the white chocolate raspberry cake. It's her favorite cake in the whole world because of the raspberry puree swirl on the inside. I can hardly articulate into words how disappointed we were. Yes, the cake texture and frosting matched their reputation, but they've now reduced that yummy delicious raspberry swirl into a hairline, just enough to say it's there. Ridiculous!! It's there, barely, can't taste it at all. It's not the same cake we've ordered in the past. We served up half of it to our guests.. and as soon as everyone was out the door, we threw it in the trash. We all talked about how ridiculous it was to send out a cake like this, absolutely embarrassed for us, and Nothing Bundt Cakes!! It made me sad when my daughter turned to me and said, "Please don't ever order another cake from them ever again." I've unsubcribed and we won't go back. :( read more

These cakes are delicious, everyone knows that. I've been enjoying them for years at work but never been inside one of their retail places. It was very small but the cakes are displayed in the counter and labeled for easy ordering. I can see where it can get pretty tight in there very quickly. I tried a new flavor (to me) the lemon raspberry bundlet for $5.25. I'll admit I was disappointed there was nowhere to sit & enjoy my tiny cakes right then, as my sister & I had just had lunch and weren't ready to part ways yest. She asked for a fork and they don't offer that. What if we were taking it on a picnic? I think their profit margin allows for penny forks. They have lots of staff, not sure if that's because it's a holiday, there was no wait. I got a dozen cupcakes of varies flavors for my husband.
