Update: the bakery reached out and offered a full refund, which was very kind of them to do and really appreciated. Changed to four stars because the cake itself tasted good, and I'm sure if the order was done right it would have been great. Because they fixed their mistake so promptly and had great communication I'm open to trying them again in the future as they clearly care deeply about customer service. Ordered some gender reveal cupcakes. They were meant to have banana cake and strawberry filling (for a girl). Well, first we were double charged after I had pre-paid. They did well refunding that and we moved on expecting some delicious cupcakes! However when my family bit into them...the filling was just a giant chunk of banana. No strawberry anywhere. This is the third birthday cake I get from them. The first two were small rounds for adult bday. The third one one is this full sheet baby shark birthday cake. All the cakes have been beautifully decorated. I asked for it to be drawn with star tip just like my cakes were in the 80s when I was a kid. The baby shark one made me and my twins so happy, it was exactly what we wanted! We ordered one half strawberry and other pineapple, both with fruit filling. Disappointed, Every item we tried was dry or had no flavor. We had purchased a three or four items.

I never bought a cake outside of the Cheesecake Factory or making my own. For this special birthday we decided to buy one. I was called 3 hours before pick up time and told they made the wrong size cake and would I like to add cupcakes to make up the difference. If not cupcakes maybe another layer (not tier, layer) ok, rolling with it I approved the layer. Picking up the cake was a hassle because it did not fit the box and I had to take time to defend my desire for a box that fit the cake. I was able to acquire an box that fit AND a top For the box but it took verbal effort. I needed the cake Sunday but since they were closed sundays I was asked to pick up Saturday which was not the issue. The issue is today (Sunday) the cake has a bubble and cracks around and on the bubble. Kroger sugar balls and piping on a 1.5 tier cake before tip was 75$. So so disappointed that I prepaid AND it looks worse the next day. I am very disappointed in this place and would never ever recommend them or be back. read more

Estefania did a wonderful job explaining all my options, and showing me all the different looks and appearances they had created in the past. The 10' Round cake they came up with for me was perfect. I walked in and ordered 15 cupcakes in both vanilla and chocolate for my daughters birthday party and that is the only direction I gave them. They added sprinkles and edible chocolate candy balls on top to make them look super cute. The cupcakes were a huge hit and tasted great!
