Well, she was right because I had a really good time! Luckily, we went on a Monday, when there was only one other painter there, so the instructor could go at a slower pace. When we arrived, we were greeted and then ordered a drink before the class started. There was just one employee there who was the cashier, bartender, and our painting instructor. She was very patient and helpful when I struggled occasionally. Because I was new to painting, I didn't get to finish all that I hoped, but I did take home a painting that I'm pretty darn proud of!

The food on the original advertisement was listed as brunch, then back tracked and it was..piss poor snacks at best. Food was all over the floor, where people had dropped it trying to serve themselves. The food ran out and we had to go back to Port, for that food to run out. the paint portion was unguided, we received elementary school supplies. no easels or instructions. did the wine tasting even happen? I spoke with Edward and he assured me at that time that a refund would be made and I would be made whole. Then after the event, it went to him providing a partial refund. as of today I have yet to receive a refund and have sent him multiple emails, that have went unanswered. I will never waste my time (I drove from Columbus), not money with this company.

I joined the masterpiece drawing class for the Music Hall over a month ago. The instructor barely told us what we were supposed to do while painting. We were also supposed to received the instructions for the Music Hall within a week and have yet to receive it. I figured there would be instruction and tips and an open forum for questions. And I believe there was all of that, however, nothing that I could actually hear. The woman instructing was very sweet and friendly and put in a bad situation where the room that she reserved was not available or some failing occurred. Everyone should have been given the choice to re-schedule as no one at our table could hear anything. We were asked often if we could hear and every time I shook my head indicating I could not hear but yet she still spent all her time at the other table with a few attempts to come closer to our table when a question/answer session started. It became SO frustrating not being able to hear that I tuned out hoping we'd get home in Time for the sitter, wishing I could just get the supplies and finish in my comfortable, quiet home with no equines within 6 feet of me. NOT the relaxing, enjoyable, therapeutic experience we were hoping for and next time we will spend the 11$ (the fee ON TOP of Groupon pricing you will get charged) on a similar planted/Halloween plant at Michaels Regarding the woman that tried to teach this class I feel bad for her as she may not know how to handle these unexpected situations and may be limited in what she can offer but this was unacceptable.... We were forced to be a bigger part of the bar experience then we would have liked. We got there about 8 minutes late and she checked our names but other people at the table were musing how anyone could have taken their seat as their Groupon was never checked...and we were in the middle of a bar. The people at my table were complaining about the 11$ fee on top of the Groupon fee... young professionals feeling like they got ripped off isn't a way to inspire repeat business... IF THERES A FEE include it in a higher Groupon price so people don't go into it feeling ripped off or leaving feeling even worse when the experience was a failure. I had forgotten that fee but the young professionals had not. Skip the plant nite... even if everything has been as it should have been I believe this group on Would have been a failure either way and I would never recommend or do again... the conservatory has free workshops all the time and often you take things home with you... all for less (admission is 4$) then the "additional fee" with this company

A friend and I recently took a class @ Board & Brush and I am so mad at myself for not going…read moresooner. I've been to other painting classes and Board & Brush is the Cream of the Crop hands down. The process is super easy. Go online and choose your project, you can even customize what you want it to say. Once you arrive and check in they already have your seating set up, (TIP: if you are going with a friend make sure you put that friend's name down...they have a place for that when you're booking.). This place is staffed appropriately and they are like a well oiled machine. We got to our table they had the boards there and the stencils and confirm that it's to your liking. I didn't realize that we actually put the boards together, stain them along with the painting; but, don't freak out, they have everything you need and it's super fun to do that part. My friend chose a beautiful cardinal scene to put outside her front door for Christmas and I chose the gingerbread man. I did change what they had written on the website to be "Home Sweet Home". Y'all it is so fun and fulfilling to complete a project start to finish. I'm gushing so I'm gonna finish with this...don't put this off, just go. It's so much fun to do by yourself or with friends. Oh and if you want some wine they have it!! Whoo hoo!!! Trust me just go. You will enjoy it!
