The owner has the entire collection memorized so you can tell him practically any genre (music, sports, art exhibitions, travel posters, fashion, military etc..) and he will find you something you would love or wasn't even expecting. We ended up getting two because we couldn't decide. They are definitely pricey but he can help you find something in your price range. Since we were coming from out of town he had the posters mailed and they arrived in perfect condition. We got the framed immediately and have been enjoying them every day.

Based on the level of passion and excitement, I'll assume it was the owner I saw in the store. I have to admit that I spent half of my time eavesdropping on his interaction with some customers where he was bending over backwards to find the most perfect poster for their wishes. He seemed delightful and completely in his element. I saw everything from european travel posters to war time patriotism and even old french bicycle ads. Next time I'll allot more time to browse. I felt like I could have gotten a gift for just about anyone I know somewhere in the stacks of pristine canvas mounted posters. Stop in! You won't be disappointed.

They may be 925 somewhere in the world but are not up to our standards here in America as they broke out my wife and left a green hue on her skin. It's art plus history, and some of the exhibits include tactile, audible AND olfactory enhancements. The classical old building housing the museum is a work of art in itself. That sweeping staircase! Not to worry, there are elevators. And the entire premises is fully wheelchair accessible including plenty of designated parking spots. There is a gift shop and a cafe on premises. My only regret from our visit is we only allowed 90 minutes. I would say at least two hours plus to see everything without rushing. They also offer guided tours, not sure of the duration on those. And..... FREE admission, free parking. And a great view from Mount Adams as an added bonus. What a gem!

If you are worried about parking, the garage on 12th and Vine around the corner is not only covered but one of the lowest cost in the city. We often find street parking nearby too.

Francis was very accomodating and worked diligently with me to analyze measurements and photos detailing the painting and the space, and made helpful recommendations to get just the right design. Francis ordered what was needed and when my daughter came in town he assembled the painting and frame with a quick turn-around so she could take it home in her car rather than have it shipped. The quality and craftsmanship was excellent. The painting looks beautiful, and my daughter was very happy with the result!

They offer drawing classes in their drawing center, as well as darkroom and photo workshops. As photographers, the photo workshop caught our eyes. My husband and I will definitely be back to see more of what this gallery has to offer.
