When we did get in touch we were told they needed our paypal information. When we rejected this and said they have all the information they need, they finally sent our refund back to paypal .Not to our bank account which it came out of. We also had purchased two items that were said to be 925. They may be 925 somewhere in the world but are not up to our standards here in America as they broke out my wife and left a green hue on her skin. The Velvet Cricket has lost our business and we cannot recommend them.

It's art plus history, and some of the exhibits include tactile, audible AND olfactory enhancements. The classical old building housing the museum is a work of art in itself. That sweeping staircase! Not to worry, there are elevators. And the entire premises is fully wheelchair accessible including plenty of designated parking spots. There is a gift shop and a cafe on premises. My only regret from our visit is we only allowed 90 minutes. I would say at least two hours plus to see everything without rushing. They also offer guided tours, not sure of the duration on those. And..... FREE admission, free parking. And a great view from Mount Adams as an added bonus. What a gem!

There is something for all tastes, be it contemporary, to traditional. We have visited usually on the weekends and enjoy interacting with the owner who comes from a mostly photography background, and really love his dog that usually sits on a pillow but is always happy to say hi and let you pet him. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and not stuffy like some galleries. So, whether you are looking to spruce up your walls or buy a nice gift for someone special, consider checking out Gallery OTR. If you are worried about parking, the garage on 12th and Vine around the corner is not only covered but one of the lowest cost in the city. We often find street parking nearby too.

I had a tricky request to frame a painting that I didnt have in hand because it was a gift for my…read moredaughter who lives out of town. Francis was very accomodating and worked diligently with me to analyze measurements and photos detailing the painting and the space, and made helpful recommendations to get just the right design. Francis ordered what was needed and when my daughter came in town he assembled the painting and frame with a quick turn-around so she could take it home in her car rather than have it shipped. The quality and craftsmanship was excellent. The painting looks beautiful, and my daughter was very happy with the result!
