I would wholeheartedly recommend this for adult or child art classes. I drive 40 minutes to take…read moreSharon's classes. I'm continually impressed by the growth of all her students (with widely varying levels of experience) in a variety of mediums (acrylic, watercolor, pastels, pencil...) and techniques. I had absolutely no art experience and am amazed at the art I've created with her. She knows her stuff - she has taught at the college level, and her awesome paintings hang around. And you can't beat the price for her 2-hour classes with individual attention. One caveat: if you need structure, this probably isn't for you. Everyone is working on their own project and their is no strict "syllabus" to work through. I've come to really enjoy that

From the owner: Looking for art classes in Cincinnati? We now offer art classes for preschool, elementary, high…read moreschool, and older students. Our Cincinnati art classes are offered after school, evenings, and weekends with ongoing registration. We specialize in art lessons, drawing lessons, painting classes, painting lessons, perspective training, and mastery of color in our Anderson Township studio near Mt. Washington on the East side of Cincinnati, Ohio. Using a step-by-step method, students of all ages are taught basic drawing and painting skills which result in art work that is both realistic, attractive, and worth of showing. Our art students experience the excitement and fulfillment of creating art as they are taught on an individualized basis according to their personal skills and abilities. Each student moves ahead at his or her own pace. This enables our students to attain the artistic "tools" they need to create art for the rest of their lives. Our goal is to make art lessons accessible and affordable and we believe that a strong foundation of real hands-on skills will enable students to eventually follow any artistic path they choose. The student explores drawing and painting mediums such as charcoal, graphite, pen and ink, pencil, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and oils in a creative and fun environment. These are real art lessons. We teach drawing and painting skills: perspective, composition, value, line, form, color, and style.

We used to come here a lot. Even just a couple weeks ago. Today we wanted to celebrate my birthday…read more My mom, daughter and I came in. My mom is very slow due to mobility issues. The lady didn't seem very friendly. Every time we've ever come in we've picked a table. Well not today as I was sitting my mom down the lady told us she had just sat 2 people there. So she told us to move. She wasn't friendly and just not a friendly environment today. My daughter who never says anything asked if we could leave. Very disappointed in our experience. Now looking for a new place to start going to.

5, 10, 15 stars if I could! I LOVE that there's a place like this so close to home. Based on our…read moreexperience, we will be back (a lot!) especially on those gloomy, rainy days that Cincinnati provides. My kiddo loved it and so did mom! We decided to pop in and check this place out on a Saturday morning, unknowing what we were getting ourselves into. We just needed to get out of the house. On the left side of the shop is a wall FULL of unfinished ceramics starting at $7 and going up. You choose what you'd like to paint (we went with a few different items) and then you get started! The kid wall is full of little animal statues like penguins, peacocks, elephants, bears. For the adults there's mug, ornaments, plates. You can add on smaller pieces for $1 or decorate a cute ceramic letter. There's so many different selections that you could come back 10 times and still find something new to paint. They have everything you need as far as paints, brushes, smocks, sponges, stamps. Go at your own pace, use whatever design your heart desires and they glaze and fire it for you. Keep in mind, this process takes one week so you can't take it home right away. Plan for one week if you're giving as a gift. As for pricing, you purchase your item for whatever is written on it and then for kiddos it's $5 flat fee, adults is $7 flat fee on top of your piece. My kiddo painted 3 things and it was under $20. Our finished pieces are so cute and my kiddo treasures hers in her room. Can't wait to go back! AND we snagged a couple gift cards for Mammaw and Nana! I hope Doodlin never leaves!
