Privately hosted ladies night was a blast. We brought our own wines and food to share. They had video screens all around so no matter where we were sitting we could see and follow along. I particularly appreciated how the staff made rounds as we were painting and offered praise and helpful suggestions! Pricing per person was a little higher than expected considering we provided all our own beverages, however it was really worth it in the end. I even saw where they offer soy candle making! We had so much fun here!! We went for Mother's Day with my mom and grandma. We got there early to set up snacks and drinks. They have seats picked out for you so you can sit with your group. Most groups brought coolers full of wine to drink throughout the painting. They came around with fun hats and headbands to wear. The instructor was awesome as none of us were painters. They took us through step by step to create somewhat nice paintings... (haha!) they also had small giveaways throughout the session if you were paying attention to the instructor. I came here last night for a date night with me and my boyfriend and we had a pretty good time! This is definitely a unique date idea and something that was quite out of the box for us. It was fun having a bit of a creative outlet (something that we don't do often). The class did go a little fast and more than half of the class was behind at any given point. We did pick one of the "harder" classes, but since it wasn't just us behind I expected the instructor to slow down a bit. I think the class would have been much better if they added an extra half hour on the end to make the class less stressful and more fun. I'm not sure if I would come back here to do this again, but I think it is a fun place to try once! If nothing else, it is probably cheaper to come here than to buy all the materials that would be necessary to create the paintings. read more

As a treat for Mothers Day, my daughters and I decided to spend the day together at PWAT. This was our first visit to PWAT and I have to say I was impressed! I have no artistic abilities, but the staff made things so easy that I am definitely not ashamed of the finished product. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The made our visit so much fun! We had so much fun that we came back in this past weekend 6/3/17 to paint the Disney's Rose of Love. The staff was also great on this day too! I have people requesting invites the next time I come in to paint! I definitely will be back and definitely would recommend! You all are AWESOME! read more

I went for a girls night out and honestly it was the best. It's fun the instructors are all very sweet. The liquid courage is definitely advised if you're not very creative. They go over things step by step. They play music throughout the night and in my opinion it was very varied music. I loved it and so did the ladies. I've been twice already since the opening. Highly recommend for friends night out and special event parties. Lots of paintings to choose from on the calendar. Three of us attended the Paint Your Pet event. Lots of fun and they made it so easy for us to create a portrait that looked almost professional. I really thought that I was going to have a fun night out with friends. Socialize, have a drink and a snack, oh and on the side I was going to have to pretend to paint because that is my worst talent in the world. OK, so I was wrong on half of this. I did the socializing part well but I totally surprised myself on how much I enjoyed the entire painting experience at "Painting with a Twist" The artist, Morgan , made all of us feel like we were all artists. He was very funny and really was able to be entertaining and instructional. In the end there were approximately 20 various versions of a lighthouse scene and I have to say , they were all worthy of being hung proudly in each person's home. If you are interested , their website has options of the art they will be doing that month. I am definitely going to go back this summer and bring my daughters. What a great way to decorate a college dorm or first apartment. Thanks for adding a great venue to our community. I dont usually do things like this. The last time i painted i was in elementary school. The instructor, "jack" was extremely helpful and made the class a lot more enjoyable than what i was expecting considering my background. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience with friends. read more

I can't begin to tell you how much fun we have had here! I have only ever drawn stick people and Painting With a Twist has awakened my inner artist! My paintings are actually hanging in my home! But the fun was really being with so many other people, some I knew and others I did not. A little food and cheer as well as some dancing, made it an amazing social, exciting & highly entertaining experience! Go with one person or plan a huge party with many people! Love, Love, Love this place!! I don't have an amazing art talent but the instructors are amazing! I wanted to go for my birthday and my husband went with me and we did a couples picture. He actually really, really enjoyed it and our picture is hanging in our bedroom. I told everyone about it and my sister went for her birthday and tonight I am going with my mom. The pictures and beautiful. You can drink wine while you paint and play really fun music. I was so excited to try out this place. I looked at the website and tried to register but the website wanted an "access code" and it said I had to talk to someone at the facility. I called and there was no answer but the message said they didn't open until 1:00. I waited until the afternoon and called. They told me the class was cancelled because not enough people signed up. (There was NOTHING on the website that showed the class was cancelled). I was told at least TWO (2) people needed to sign up for the class to take place. I told them I wanted to sign up THREE (3) people, but was told there was no artist available, even though the class was apparently just cancelled. NOT A VERY GOOD WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'VE JUST OPENED RECENTLY. "Cheers To Art" in Madeira is run much more professionally than this place. I MAY consider trying to enroll for another class at Painting With A Twist; but my first impression was "UGH!" read more
