(I am not in San Francisco by the way-I am local) I am not the perfect client. I have my fair handful of no shows in 9 years, on rare occasion I ask for my check to be held or post-dated & I own the fact I am VERY fussy about how I like my nails done. I have however been an absolutely 100% faithful, loyal client. In 9 years I stayed through not 1, but 2 sets of staff walking out on the business leaving the salon all but empty. I stayed through the ups & downs of Erin's personal life as its brought to her table during nail appts, supporting her fully in person and on FB with pics of my nails, advertising the business & scores of positive comments. I have given my business to her hairstylists too, while not really being able to establish a customer relationship with any one stylist due to turnover (until the last year or so with Megan and she is AMAZING!) So currently after Erin cancelled my regular payday Friday 12/14 appt & moving it up to Mon 12/10 of that week for her vacation, I asked her if I could write the check for Fri-my regular appt day b/c that is payday and she agreed w/o issue but cashed it in error creating an issue w/my husband so I sent her an early am upset text & PM in FB at his request. Her response was to tell me we are finished with business & posted it in FB (w/o my name but it was obvious) allowing her friends, other clients & one of her newest stylists as well to insult "me" & refer to "me" w/vile names to include the most vile of it all by a user Elaine Marie - "who is this c**t?". After responding openly in rthis is about me & not to judge something you don't know the situation of, herself Erin posted "you need to be done, you have no showed...etc" humiliating front of others. This is so unprofessional & unacceptable even on her personal FB because she is a business owner linked to her salon in FB. Business is never so good that you turn away consumer business and allow verbal abuse of your client ever. I am more than happy to take my $42 every other week somewhere else. Not only did she lose business for herself, but for her hair stylist I loved as well. I cannot and will not be exposed to that level of unprofessional behavior no matter how good a job she does on nails. I can have my nails done nicely anywhere. 2 stars because Erin does do good nail work.
