While visiting OH for a wedding, I called for a last minute appointment and the lady on the phone was very sweet and accommodating. I arrived for my appointment and I was greeted by the owners Destiny and her husband Rob. Rob did my nails and WOW! I'm from CA and I haven't had my nails done so well for a long time. She was friendly and I really enjoyed chatting with her. Then I enjoyed a relaxing pedicure. Not only did the staff ask my preference on nail shapes and polish colors, they educated me on something's I didn't know and refreshed me on things I had forgotten (hadn't had a full set in over 2 years). The owners are not friendly. I would make an appointment arrive 5mn early and have to wait 15 to 30mn this happened more than once. I always felt like I was interrupting them when I went in for my fill or my pedicure. While doing my nails they would talk bad about a client walking in or someone who called in. I would get the same thing done everytime and the price would never be the same I never knew what to expect. I finally got tired of the waiting the poor attitude of the owners found another place to go. read more

I went here with my sister a few days ago. I needed a acrylic fill and I am disappointed with how bad the shaping is. I asked for them to be done over and it still wasn't done right. Some of the nails are shorter than the others and are not even. It was one of the owners that did our nails which makes it even worse! My sister had tips done on her nails and it looks extremely sloppy and nothing like neat, French tips. Don't waste your time or money going here. read more

Quite a few color options...but of course the one I picked was dried out. The place is not a bad location in Town. Nice space and little pedicure room. Prices were equal to typical Ohio rates $30 for a pedicure. Owner's name is Destiny. I liked the big mirrors and layout. I also noticed they had the sterilizing station visible which I appreciated. I called to see if they were busy. I wanted to schedule an appointment. The guy said they are pretty booked with appointments so "Walk-in only" I walked in and he acted irritated that I walked in. He said there are quite a few people ahead of you. I don't think we can get you in until 3 at the earliest. Okay...so why did he have me drive all the way there to tell me they are too busy to help me? I took my 100$ cash elsewhere and won't be back. They do a good job, but I quit going because of rudeness in the past. It's just not worth it to me. Customer service is lacking. read more

More than pleased. Went to designer nails and they completely ruined my manicure. This place was more than accommodating helping my match the gel I had on my toes from the last place so that I only needed to redo my manicure. They even gave me their most experienced technician. I went in with my friend today and the lady Destiny that did my friends nails was very friendly and did a great job! But the lady that did my nails was rude, cut me in 5 different places (to the point where I was bleeding), and overall didn't do a great job on my nails. Then I was charged almost $70 for my short acrylics with no designs or gems or anything, just paint. My friend was charged around $90 for hers which were also short and other than a few stripes on 2 fingers, were just a solid color. I've been told by multiple people that a full set here is $35-$40 so I was very upset when we ended up paying double that. read more

Second time going and both times was asked why am i there to get my nails done... I am a little particular about how i like my nails but very sweet about it... The guy we ended up ok ... But the lady i seen today was very rude and she is the one who messed up my nail... It was slanted and she tried to say it was already like that when i know better... The experience was just average. I went with my mom and told the technician that it was her first mani & pedi. Rather than engage her, the tech was completely quiet even when my mom tried to start a conversation. The woman who did my nails was nice, but not much better. They both seemed uninterested. Finally found a great nail salon! I walked in I was politely greeted, they have an array of OPI colors to choose from. Not only that, they carried the biggest selection of OPI gel color I've ever seen. All 4 employees said hi to me and smiled and let me just say that felt really good, especially when you get used to walking into nail salons that are filled with rude people. The gel polish has looked and stayed on very well, I get so many compliments on my nails all the time now! I've had all of the employees work on me and I have to say they are all wonderful! They get the job done and they get it done right like how it should be. The manicure is amazing as well , never been cut, the massage feels great and most importantly the nails feel great and look amazing. Rob gave my elderly mother a very thorough pedicure. He worked on her feet for 45 minutes and they looked better than I've ever seen them look. At her age of 89, her feet are in rough shape, so he really spent much time and care, because she also has super thin skin which tears easily. Definitely going back. When I walked in a man greeted me with a hello. I signed my name on the sign-in sheet and just stood there for a bit. A female employee looked right at me and walked behind the counter and never acknowledged me. I couldn't believe it. She acted as if I wasn't there. I said, "hello". She looked down and said hello in a very uninterested tone as if she was irritated that she had to say it, then quickly walked away. Very rude, When I realized she was going to be working on me I asked for someone else. I had my feet in the pedicure bowl when the same man who greeted me at first walks over to me rather briskly and puts the arm down on my chair. I put it back up stating I prefer it down (i obviously meant up but said down by mistake) and he pulls it down and says, "What do you want, up, down, up, down?" He was saying it in an antagonizing way. Then asks me, "Do you have a a problem?" I replied, "no". He said, "What happened?" I explained the situation and he said that she said hello to me and did nothing wrong. I explained it was only after I made her say it. He was very harsh and rude with me. I said, "forget it I'm just leaving" and he says, "great! That's what I wanted to happen. That's exactly what I wanted". He stood at the front door and watched me get into my car as if trying to intimidate me. I couldn't believe it. I was flabbergasted by the behavior of these two people. Despite the bad taste left in my mouth after my last visit, my friend set up appointments for us to have pedicures before we went on vacation. I wasn't excited to return, but I figured having my friend along, having someone to talk and interact with, would make a difference. And it did. Although there was still very minimal interaction with the nail techs, my friend and I were able to sit side by side and chat our way through the pedicure. Maybe the nail techs have to concentrate hard or something; I still don't understand why grunts and gestures are pretty much all they use to communicate with the clients. That being said, however, I have had 2 really good pedicures there. It has been nearly 3 weeks since our last pedicures, and despite walking on the beach, swimming in the ocean and chlorinated pools, riding bikes, and walking hours while shopping, my nails still look great. So, don't go for social hour---there isn't one---but I can't complain about the quality of the work. read more

Today was my second time to the salon. They do a great job and the staff are very nice. My friend and I chatted and they also joined our conversation. I told them that some of the other reviews said they did not talk much. The girls said that they talk when the customers talk but that sometimes customers like to have a quiet pedicure. They try to answer questions but keep in mind the experience is all about what the customer wants. I have mobility issues and they went out of their way to help make me comfortable. I made an appointment both times and they were very prompt. My friend wanted to sit by me to talk so they girl stood and did her fingernails beside me while I was getting a pedicure. The girl did not act like it was any problem to stand the whole time and work on my friends nails. I highly recommend this place. read more
