Important: PLEASE READ DO NOT HIRE. Please view all my…read morephotos ******************** This company is only interested in your money & making a sale !!! I hired Sure-Dry 3 yrs ago to fix my basement walls. Prior to hiring them, I sent them videos of my basement walls protruding water, like a broke dike would do. So, not only was my basement getting tons of water in it... but you could physically see that I had severe cracks & structural damage in my walls. Several other companies come out to provide me a quote. Unfortunately, I opted to hire Sure-Dry. *** I specifically asked the sales person and the crew supervisor why they wouldn't have to dig the outside perimeter to correct my problem *** They're answer was " Ohhh, we don't have to do that anymore " I am an average home owner, I did my research, but you're also hiring PROFESSIONALS, LICENSED COMPANIES who make you believe that you can trust them. When they started my project, they assured me that these " magical drain tiles " would resolve & correct my problems. When the crew began, the workers were extremely kind, however after the work was finished, Sure-Dry had to come out repeatedly to correct things that weren't done right. I had to call them SO MANY times. I worked my way up the branch of command to get help. ****My basement kept getting wet, every time it rained *** I would call them every time to have someone come out to address the problem. This company refused to call me back. Luckily I kept a log and took pictures over the past 3 years. On 9/4/26 we had a lot of rain. My sump pump alarm went off at 4am, I went down to basement, suddenly water came leaking in from every wall by the floor. I immediately called Sure-Dry. Of course they don't offer 24hr emergency service. I left them a message. 1 hr later I heard a THUNDEROUS CRASH !!! My bearing wall had now totally COLLAPSED. I had water & mud up to ankles. Mud had now traveled through my entire basement & lower level of my house. My living room, bathroom, bedroom & office. EVERYTHING GOT DESTROYED !! I left another message, frantically telling them of the collapse. By 9am I had called in another 5 times with still no response back. It is now 9/25/26... this unscrupulous, fraudulently based company has yet to call me back or even come out to my house to view all the damages. I spoke to the GM: Nick Rainer on 9/11, now a week later. He promised to speak to Cory ( project manager) about situation & come out that following Monday. I proactively sent Sure-Wet a certified letter requesting a cure for damages. After 10 days the GM ( Nick Rainer) sent me an email, stating they have forwarded my situation to their LEGAL Dept. OMG ... I have a 25 yr warranty from this company !!! And still no call, no apology and no visit to my home. I began & attempted to call every contractor, foundation repair company, restoration service etc.... But no one was available, due to working the Menasha tornado project. Please view all the detailed pics of the basement wall COLLAPSE !! My State Farm insurance company denied my entire claim ... EVERYTHING Toby, Vince & Tony were the crew that water-proofed my basement. They ALL went up & beyond. They were very expeditious in completing the job, and were so KIND for assisting me with small items I needed help with. I decided to go with the " wall braces" that were recommended to ensure my walls / foundations stay in place. I requested the same crew to come back for the additional repairs. The only downside that was visible to me, would be the appearance of the white wall sheeting that was applied. The pictures and how it was described to me when I received my quote were totally different. The pictures showed a tight white sheeting that appeared to be flat & adhered to the wall. The sheets on my walls are loose and not that appealing. Toby explained what the sheeting was actually meant to do, therefore the need for the loose fitting. I might suggest that when siting an estimate and providing different options to the customer, that the " Wall protection " be explained a little better.

We hired them for a complete kitchen remodel, flooring, window, and railing after a house fire…read more Chad ripped us off and did shoddy workmanship. Nothing in the kitchen is level, counter tops already craked once. Kitchen cabinets were terrible. They were supposed to be custom Amish builet cabinets. The cabinets came in with sawdust under the paint and so many dings and dents. They weren't even the cabinets that we ordered. They hung the cabinets at all diiffernt heights in the kitchen. Not one thing is level. So many more things to mention. They put caulk over the entire backsplash after the original grout they put in failed and was failing out. Cracked cabinets during install and then "fixed them" with caulk. I aill attach the many pictures, We have given them 18 months to fix things they ruined and they are refusing to take responsibilty. Chad said he, "went above and beyond." Stay far away from these scam artists. All their good reviews are thier family/friends. The pictures were were shown beforehand, that they have on their website aren't even real kitchens that they completed. They also put dings into our new dishwasher with a ladder and refused to fix it because they had already replaced the vent hood that they dented. The floors were installed the wrong way and hav a weird metal transistion dtrip from the hall to the bathroom because they floor person started from 2 oppsites sides of the house instead of working only in 1 direction. It has been such a mess and Chad and Travis wont answer texts or calls. They also completely ignored us when we have asked for insurance information and the name of the "Amish" cabinet maker.

I hired Square Oaks for a large patio door and window project at my lake house. Unfortunately, this…read morehas been one of the most frustrating contractor experiences I have ever had. The patio door was purchased on October 25, 2025, and the window was purchased on December 19, 2025. Square Oaks' own written "What to Expect Next" document states that, following inspection, products would take approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive at their warehouse, with installation scheduled once all product was confirmed. Instead, this project dragged on for approximately 8-10 months, with repeated problems along the way. After several interactions and full on arguments with the owner, Rick Rajchel, showed me where his moral compass lies by offering me a full refund verbally and then in writing (a week and a half later) emailed me to say I was trying to get money out of him and all he would do is a 10% discount. The window installation in particular has been a nightmare. The window was initially installed in a manner that did not accommodate the siding, requiring Square Oaks to return and adjust the installation. During that adjustment, Square Oaks broke the glass. They subsequently ordered replacement glass, which was also broken. Another replacement was ordered, and that glass was broken as well. So after multiple attempts, I am still left with a large window that is visibly broken and unresolved. What has been equally frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability throughout the process. I was repeatedly required to follow up for updates, and at one point the owner told me he was personally handling the issue. After not receiving the promised follow-up, I had to reach out again simply to get an update. After explaining the history of the problems, I spoke directly with the owner, who verbally told me he would provide a full refund for the window. I relied on that conversation as the resolution to the issue. However, when he subsequently put his position in writing, he reversed course and offered only a 10% discount on the entire project while continuing to charge me for the window. The response has now been reduced to telling me that the broken glass is simply a warranty issue and that I can either accept their offer or pursue arbitration. For me, this isn't about refusing a warranty. (Which it clearly states in their warranty clause that damage during installation DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A WARRANTY) It's about the fact that I paid for a properly installed, functioning window and have instead experienced repeated installation problems, repeated broken glass, significant delays, and an enormous amount of time spent following up with the company to get problems corrected. I hired a professional company because I expected them to manage the project professionally. Instead, I feel like I have had to manage the contractor throughout the process. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Square Oaks to understand exactly how defects, installation damage, delays, warranty issues, and disputes are handled before signing a contract. This is just part of my experience- I didn't share the issues from the patio door. Highly recommend you do not buy from this company. .

I paid him $2058 on 12/2/2020 when all that was done was the 2x4 frame work on porch. He said he would have to come back the next day with a blow torn as the roof already had snow on it. He never showed. Once the snow started falling consistently, I knew the project wouldn't get completed until spring. Once it started to get warmer and there was no longer snow on the roof, I contacted him and he still didn't show. Then it started to rain and water started to leak into the house. I contacted him again and he said he would be by the next week. He never showed all week despite my constant calling. I then had no choice but to contact another contractor to patch the roof. That cost me another $1100 on top of what I paid him. At this point I asked for a refund and he kept putting that off. We spoke on the phone and I told him I would be taking him to small claims court which he then replied "you do whatever you need to". He continually cut me off, when I called him a liar and con man he told me he was recording me. After I continued to try to schedule a time for refund he just hung up on me. I'm a single mom and he saw easy prey. I just want my money back!
