During my nap the driver announces transfer for all those headed to Missoula. Missing the announcement results in me failing to transfer. Eventually I ask is this bus going to Missoula. Driver responds "Im taking you to Boise". Believe it was intently perpetrated. It must be difficult being so fat. In other words "you too". NO regard for riders and there safety all bout the buck you are a disgraceful service truly regret having any belief in you and yours.

It works for the whole Boise area and it's on Bannock Street and gets quite a lot of traffic. I met a very good friend here years ago, and have been back a couple of times on a bus since, and once in a car for sentimental reasons. It's right downtown and also services other bus companies which come through here such as Northwestern Trailways.

Valley Regional Transit has a decent sized…read moreservice map and their most popular routes have pretty good frequency as they run as often as every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on Saturday. Fares are also affordable as a day pass is only $2.50. The negatives about this system are that some routes do only run hourly and most importantly, there is no service on Sundays and on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. But this also extends to holidays like Memorial Day and Labor Day. I am not sure why this is the case, but it seems like a city of this size should have some service. Especially given this is for Idaho's capital.

We did about four stops on the Sunnyslope wine trail, and one oopsie stop at a winery that was closed. This was due to an error in our research, not theirs. Planning your trip can be done with help from Idaho Towncar, or you can spit out your itinerary for your driver to follow dutifully. Our complete stops included Ste. Chapelle, Koenig, Williamson, and Sawtooth, probably not in that order though. By the third stop I was having, as they say, a REALLY SWELL TIME. ;-) Our spacious and comfortable van had room for the six of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves for the duration of the afternoon. Complimentary snacks, sweets, wine glasses, beverages, and sparkling apple ciders were available for us to partake of, as well as the dreaded karaoke machine so that the older generation could embarrass the stuffing out of the youth along for the ride. I was somewhere in the middle of that and enjoyed it immensely. The professionalism and patience of our driver was much appreciated, as was his adaptability in putting up with our requests, and his fun, laidback personality.
