I called for a taxi at 3:00, the guy said ten min. I called back 30 minutes later and no answer twice. Currently there are better taxi services that can get you there promptly. **DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY** I called Green Cab to have them provide a ride to an event in Star that my honey and I did not want to drive to from the east end of Boise. We were told 15 min for pickup. We sat on the front porch eagerly awaiting our ride. After 20 minutes I checked my phone to discover that my ringer was off. There was a missed call from our cab driver who was lost. I immediately called him back and apologized for the ringer being off. He was irate and began yelling at me that I was irresponsible for leaving my phone off. I apologized again but was berated horribly. He insisted that he had been to my house- which he had not. He yelled and was using crude language. He was so rude I told him I would call another company and hung up. I wish I would have asked his name. At this point, the driver began texting me abusive statements. I was so shaken up and could not believe that a person providing customer service would treat a customer so rudely and unprofessionally! The driver's comments were ver batim- which I saved and took screen shots of: Cabbie: "Vampires can't see themselves in the mirror...I bet you can't see you in your mirror" My reply: "I'm reporting you" Cabbie: "Let's call the police. I love it when an idiot calls the police" My reply: "This is harassment. End it now." I blocked his number at this point. I would highly recommend NEVER calling this company lest you get this rude and unprofessional driver. Nobody should ever be treated this way by anyone providing customer service!! This person was beyond unprofessional, they were abusive and horrible and harassing. I truly hope that Green Cab figures out who this cabbie is and terminates their employment. I called because I had been mistreated by a cab driver previously, and I wanted to make sure that I was calling a different cab company because I had forgotten the name of the company from before. I didn't get halfway through my first sentence before he shouted "WELL, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM, NOT MINE. HAVE A GOOD F**KING DAY." And then he hung up. I was shocked. Consider your safety before letting someone that is apparently mentally unstable drive you around. Guess what, buddy - now it IS your problem. 5 seconds of your anger earns you a PERMANENT bad review. I will post on all other review sites as well. I have a 75 year old mother that needed to be transported to and from airport. She lives in a retirement village so she doesn't have an exact address for the driver to go to. Since I live in Maryland I can't take her myself. It was a little difficult finding her location the morning of her flight but the driver was patient and keep in contact with me until she was in the cab. When her trip was concluded her flight came in early, so once again it was a little challenging for the driver to find her. He came into the airport and stayed in contact with me until he found her. I appreciate the patience and extra effort they made. I would use their service again. read more

We called for a cab with 10 hours notice for airport and they arrived 15 minutes late, it was not Green Cab but Premium Cab that showed up? Cab was clean and smelled good, driver was very friendly. However, the driver was going 80 mph on both Hwy 21 & I-84. Did not feel that safe. read more

EXTREMELY upset with Green Cab service. "Texted" with service the day before an early flight. Checked pick up time, fare amount, even card vs. cash with them. Cut to 4:30am (my scheduled pick up time) and no cab. Called 5 min later, panicking due to a 5:30am flight, and he basically yelled something about "check the receipts" and hung up on me, TWICE. No explanation, no apologies. Unprofessional, incompetent, and absolutely awful. Use anyone else, and maybe you'll make your flight home for Christmas. read more

Kareen drove my teenage son from Boise to Cascade. He was responsive and responsible, helping my son get his bags and getting him to a somewhat remote location without any trouble at all. The price was reasonable, considering the wonderful service. read more

There really isn't a better cab in Boise. I travel for work and will try Joe first from now on. He was on time and got me to the airport early. If you are looking for a cab and don't want to suffer the usual, Go with Joe at Green cab. Its not a limo but its not the usual. read more

Sorry I could not rate this one ZERO stars. WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This past Saturday I was in Boise visiting my partner and we called for a cab to an event. We thought that it would be great to support the "Green" Cab company as they use hybrids and you do what you can.... WELL, we called and they said "15 minutes" so we waiting watching the road. Time passed and no cab. They had apparently tried to call, but the phone was on silent. We immediately called them back and were lied to--they said they had been to the address and we were not there--we hadn't moved. And we were excited to get going--it's not like we were avoiding a cab we had just ordered! Obviously this was troubling...we didn't call to be lied to...so we told them they were incorrect and must have had the wrong address. Then the abuse started. We were called stupid and were otherwise abused verbally, and said we'd call another service--goodbye. THEN the text message abuse started! Can you believe it? What kind of company has their people not only harangue potential customers on the phone, but then follow up with abusive text messages? At one point the driver said we should all call the police. We probably should have...but we had somewhere to go (thus the cab in the first place). Long story longer, we called a competing company that was fabulous. Moral of the story: there are fine cab companies in Boise, but this isn't one of them. Just a terrible, terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and AVOID GREEN CAB/BOISE read more

A few weeks ago, I made an appointment with Green Cab to take me to the Boise Airport from the north end in Boise. Although Joe was on time, I will not travel with Green Cab again. During our ride to the airport, Joe was discussing personal information about his life with me. He also then tried to give me advice about relationships and marriage (which I don't need). I really just needed a cab ride - I felt like he crossed boundaries by sharing personal information. I tried to ignore him and give him hints that I felt uncomfortable with the conversation, but apparently he didn't understand my social cues. While he was going on his rant about his personal life, he ran FOUR red lights while driving through downtown Boise. He never once stopped at a stop light to check for clear traffic. I feared we were going to get into an accident. This was completely unacceptable. read more
