It is beyond me how a company is able to operate in the fashion that Cascade Student Transportation…read moredoes, and stay in business! They coin themselves as "safe and reliable" transportation. PRO's: Thankfully, my son has always been transported safely CON's: This bus service is NOT reliable. As of right now, my son (on average) is late for school two out of every five days. Their communication method, the app, would be wonderful if it was used. We typically don't receive bus route updates until after the fact. An example is receiving a notice after the bus is already an hour late, saying it will be late an additional 20-25 minutes. The kids are literally sitting at the bus stop at 7:20 am (in the cold and dark) waiting at times anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours for the bus to show up. Both unacceptable and unsafe. I've called the company on numerous occasions and have never received a call back. When I'm fortunate to have someone answer the phone, they never have answers as to where the bus is, when it will be there, or if they have a bus driver for my son's route (so I can make appropriate arrangements). I'm at the point of finding alternate transportation for my son due to this ongoing problem. Thank goodness the school district has found another bus company to contract with for next school year!

I passed the interview and the physical fitness test, and was told to wait for an email that would contain instructions on where and when to take the DOT physical so I could start work. It never arrived.I called Durham and was advised it had fallen through the cracks, but now that they were aware I had not received it, it would be resent. Again, it did not arrive. I called again and was put on hold for a long time before the call simply disconnected. This happened three more times. I drove to their other facility at 465 E Gowan Rd, only to be told they could see me in the computer, but that school district was handled out of the Ward Ave office and I wiould have to go there. I drove to the N Ward office and was told they weren't open yet, come back in a couple of weeks. Fast forward to a hiring event last week. I went to the N Ward office and spoke with the receptionist, and explained what happened. She located me on the computer and checked with the hiring manager, JJ Gibbons. JJ informed me that the application was there, but it was old enough that I would have to re-apply. I did. They had me take the physical fitness test AND interview again. Again, I passed both and was told I should receive an email for the DOT physical within 24 hours. JJ even gave me her card with her direct number to call if it didn't turn up. It didn't turn up. I have called JJ's number all week, getting her voice mail every time. She has not returned a single call. If they decided not to hire me after all, that's fine. That's their perogative. But it would be nice to be notified of that so I'm not stuck in limbo waiting for a job that's not coming. A little professional courtesy would go a long way.

She wasn't kidding!!!!! My daughter was put to work from the moment she stepped inside. She was bending backwards and doing hand stands. I didn't know she could do that but Corinne helped her and I was blown away. And then she put my daughter on uneven bar and had her flipping forward and backwards. Again I didn't know my daughter could be so flexible. She had no previous gymnastics experience and she's doing things that I didn't think they teach in first day. She walked backwards on balance beam and the coach was just really no nonsense. We signed up for 2 lessons a week which is reasonable $110 or $80 for once a week. Great gym for serious gymnast. Don't be fooled by other local gymnastics gym in the area. This is the real deal. You'll get more than you paid for here and they really teach here. Less fooling around but more serious work. Highly recommended. The reception area maybe shabby but the work is real. I'm glad I shopped around and found this. Also, if you go to a gymnastics gym that does birthdays party- that should be a red signal that it's not a real gymnastics gym.
