The female bartender said "of course". There was another couple and a family sitting outside who also had a dog. Our dog was laying next to me quietly and is extremely well behaved. Barely lifts his head. One of the workers, a 30-40 yr old man with dark hair, asked the other bartender "do you think I can make this bottle cap hit that dog"? I was sitting slightly turned from him and ignored him. I did not think he would actually do it. Well, he did. He began flicking bottle caps at my dog who was laying peacefully! After the third one I turned around and said "excuse me? What are you doing?" He said "I wasn't trying to hit him don't worry I'd never do that" and quick ran inside like scared sheep. My family and I have tried so many fish fry places over the year trying to find our favorite, and each time we stray we always leave disappointed wishing we would've just got Timbers instead. To me, what makes their fish fry so great is their portions are extremely generous, you get 4 pieces of fish, a handful of fries, two slices of buttered rye bread, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and a lemon wedge. The way their fish is prepared and battered is my favorite. It doesn't have that super thick, almost pancake batter like breading that tastes like a corn dog. Instead it's very lightly breaded so that it's fish forward with a nice crunch. This is just my preference, but to me, it's the best fish fry I've ever had.
