Tossed the pieces of the large tree onto the ground making huge dents and ruining the grass. I told them when they got there that part of the lawn was new sod (it was obvious where) and left a huge pile of cut wood on top of it. When my boyfriend called to see about getting it fixed, they said they had no lawn maintenance contract with us. I would think that you would fix what you ruined, that's good business.

The tree was striking distance to the house, but their skilled climber chunked it down easily. They were aware of things that could be troublesome or damaged. No complaints. Second time, we had a tree come partially down, causing some damage to our deck. It was a precarious situation, but Steven came out, assessed, and started making a plan to try to do as little damage as possible. There was talk that we may have to cut the wire fencing I had to avoid causing more damage to the fence. Again, it was a very precarious situation and there were few options for safely dealing with the problem. They managed to take down the tree without causing any damage to the fence, cleaned up the branches, raked the front yard where they had been cutting the branches up, stacked the rounds neatly. and left everything else where we had discussed. A different reviewer complained about messy trucks and smelling marijuana. I honestly don't care about either of those things. The proof is in the pudding, and they were able to take care of the problems, have a good attitude, and move out quickly. Some members may be less social than others, but so am I. You may also consider that while you might have things done you want "your way," you may want to listen to the experts and let them handle things the right and safe way.

I would put up a Before and After photo for you; but I am too embarrassed with the "Before". Many of our green-thumbed neighbors are complimenting the change. Chris was easy to reach and prompt in his responses. He worked across three days and completely cleaned and prepared our yard. He also helped me choose the right plants and gave many landscaping suggestions. I asked for quotes from couple of other local businesses and found Green Key's price very good. Chris went above and beyond what he was hired for. He shared many ideas and was helpful with some gardening that I was doing. I am happy to have found them at the right time. I will certainly hire them again.

This company called me back 1 time but never left a quote. I called back numerous times to get a quote and nothing. I finally had to get the quote from one of the other neighbors who had gotten in touch. They came, charged more than the quote and said the quote was higher because they removed some debts from the yard in addition (without telling me they would charge extra which would be fine but at least let me know in advance and get my okay). Then I asked if they could prune 2 small maples and they said go ask a landscaper to do that because they don't do that (um, they went next door to prune my neighbor's 2 maples right after my house) Just weird.
