Great place, great service, friendly staff. I have read some of the reviews on here and honestly I think it's just unhappy people trying to make everything around them unhappy. The coffee is great and the food is good too. The prices seem to be in line with any other coffee stand so over all we are pretty blessed to have them in our town. Yes there are lines and sometimes it takes awhile to get your coffee but if it was not good we would not all be there in the morning is my take, I get two or o three products a day from them and they never disappoint. I have been numerous times and always order the same thing, the PB&J Smoothie. It has been made differently almost every time. The inconsistency with how my drink will look and taste is terrible. Friendly baristas, some super unique Lotus flavor options, really great breakfast items and a nice strong cup of coffee. Lots of cool flavor options and just some unique items you wouldn't see at most coffee shops. Servings for food are huge. The scone I ordered was like the size of two else where. They also had it in peach instead of the standard blueberry or cran orange. Overall, this place is great. I've come here a couple times even though its miles from the highway. It took me a long time to go back and give NW Grind another chance. I did because of the bubble tea. I have been 3 times this year and I must say that it has been enjoyable. I did try some other dish the french toast bagel breakfast sandwich and it was good. I enjoy the electric yuzu with the palmagranate popping boba. It is super flavorful. read more

OBSESSED!! Newly moved from California and this is some of the best coffee I have ever had in my life. I ordered a large blended Reese's peanut butter cup with white coffee and was blown away. I could drink it every single day and never get sick of it, when usually I'm an energy drink person. My only problem was being unable to find any sort of menu online to order from when I was not there to order myself, a small issue but I used customer photos to find something. Every visit that I or my friend have made to Northwest Grind has been fantastic. They have the BEST chai around and their menu options are above and beyond all the other stands in the area. There is a bit of a wait in line most days, but it is definitely worth the wait. Most of the time the coffee here is good, it really depends on which girl makes it. The service is very slow and you can easily wait in line for over 20 minutes if they're busy. Most of the time it's worth it. Some of the girls are snooty and rude but we only have two coffee places in town and the Grind better than the other option. The owner is really sweet and she makes really good coffee. I wish all the girls were as talented as she is. The food here is typically OK. The cookies are usually pretty good but expensive. Overall price wise I do find them a little on the spendy side but again for only having two options in the area it makes it a little more worth your while. read more

The coffee here was great but the customer service needs ALOT of improvement! It might just be this 1 girl but still not pleased. Great service and awesome cold drinks are what is keeping this from a two star rating. I have never had an issue with customer service at Northwest grand, in fact I love the vibes they have there! That being said when I moved to Rochester three years ago I stopped daily for my hot coffee on my way to work. I'm not sure when exactly they changed their products, but no matter what kind of hot drink I get or who's making it every hot drink I get is just gross. It's not about how it's being made, it's entirely about the products. The only way I was able to figure out that was the change in quality, was because a former employee came into my work for services, and I asked her what the deal was. Because the coffee used to be really good! But every time I give it another chance I am more frustrated and disappointing. read more
