This eye care practice has a pattern (definitively not a one-off, in my experience; but MULTIPLE occurrences) of incompetent customer service, even to the extent that Dr's don't check their emails or follow through on promises made for a referral. They don't return calls -- even if you leave a message at their "call center". They have had a recorded message on their main phone line for at least a year to "be patient while they adapt to a new phone system", which really stands out as being cover for their abysmal customer service I definitely do not recommend this eye care practice. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they do have a decent selection of designer glasses and some that are even marginally affordable. read more

Cataract surgery turned out great, but the post-op optical exam for new glasses was rushed, very brief, and resulted in a totally inadequate prescription. The glasses weren't good at all. I had to go to another optical provider, get a new prescription, then get new lenses. Big difference. Eye Health Northwest, being in a hurry is not good for your patients. I took my daughter here for a vision therapy evaluation and we had a 30 minute appointment. The office staff were pleasant and the doctor was informative. However, we were charged up front for costs without billing our insurance and getting an EOB first, being told that we had to pay full price as we hadn't met our deductible. It ended up that they overcharged us quite a bit as insurance companies have negotiated rates for services with providers. It took several weeks of calling and leaving messages to get this put back on our card. The office seems to have trouble with email communication and documentation as I have not been able to receive anything from their office in my inbox or spam even with double checking the address with them. This has not been an issue with any other medical facility we have used. Overall, their processes and communication could be better. read more

Disappointing patient service. Both times I've called to make an appointment the receptionist was uninformed, rude, and overly complicated. She wasn't able to answer my questions, and (ironically), became audibly irritated by my lack of understanding about vision therapy. Since they are Supposed to be a resource for people on the spectrum, I think they should really have a receptionist who is more engaged/informed and kind. I am concerned regarding a recent problem in customer service. I found my local pharmacy could not refill a prescription for eye drops, because this Clackamas office was not responding to their messages to authorize the refill of the prescription. I then called the office when it was open @ 1203 on 6/29, @ 1116 on 7/2, and @ 1250 & 1345 today. I left a message each time, and only got any response after the fourth (!) call. The pharmacy also tried at least twice to get their attention, but it took me calling four times to get the refill authorized. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I had an appointment in January of 2025 (yes, 4 months ago) for my initial exam. Was told that they would get a prior auth from my insurance and call me for a vision therapy appointment. 4ish weeks later, I called to get an update, left a message with a 48 hour turn around timeline, did not receive a call until the next week. Said they did send it over and would check on the prior auth. No communication. Various emails, texts, calls for updates went either unanswered or will check and then never updated. Finally checked with MY insurance and they had no record of a prior auth being asked for. Called again, left a message, got a text that said they would call and get me on the schedule by Thursday. That was three weeks ago. I went with a new doctor. The only responsive person that works there seems to be the medical records clerk and she has limited hours. read more

I've been dealing with vision issues since my concussion and was referred here for vision therapy. The Doctors were great! I had a very pleasant experience with everyone while I was there! But their billing department has made me leary of scheduling any follow up vision therapy that I desperately need. While I would love to give the brilliant doctors my business, I am just not confident at all in their back office management. I was charged at my appointment, which I was expecting, but then I received a huge bill and what I felt was a very rude letter. I reached back out to my insurance since they were unable to get anywhere; which I understand, but is still a bit frustrating after you've been told they've already cleared things. My insurance told me not to worry and that they would reach out and fix it with the clinic. Another week later I get an additional rude letter, saying they found my lack of communication and payment disquieting and that they would have to pursue methods to get my payment. I called and left a message, as well as emailed and was never contacted with any sort of confirmation that it had been straightened out. I stopped receiving bills, but I also never received any sort of follow up or an apology. I kept waiting, but now it's been a few months and I've heard nothing so I'm leaving a review. It's unfortunate, because if I could trust this clinic I would love to come back to get my vision therapy that I still desperately need. I found everyone there to be very nice and accommodating, it was honestly just one person that sort of ruined it for me, and made me lose my trust in the clinic I am sorry to say. read more

I had my worst eye injury yet --my daughter tore a larger part of my cornea on a Sunday night. Monday morning I call this place because it offers the earliest hours I could find nearby. By this time my eyes are completely closed (constant burning and feeling of sand in my eye and it hurt even to just open my one good eye). They got me in early Monday morning and were the nicest most accommodating folks I could have hoped for. Front desk folks were super nice and personable, doctors were highly skilled and very comfortable treating my injury. It turns out they are nicely equipped for triage/acute injuries, so I got really lucky. Not just that but they are complete eye nerds. Both doctor Bruce and doctor Stephanie excitedly discussed my injury and treatment and were very generous with their time. They excitedly explained what had happened with my eye and what to expect for the days to come. They even offered to take pictures of my progress (I came in three days in a row for them to assess my progress). It was the best experience I could have hoped for and my eye is completely back to normal after a couple eye bandages and a medley of drops. I now have my new eye care team here. I will recommend them to anyone for eye care. These are the folks you want working with your eyes. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Sirianni, she goes aboveboard for her patients. I can not recommend their office management. Every single time I've visited this office, the staff has let me down. Today I came for my annual appointment. I have medical and vision insurance. At the end of the appointment l, I was asked for $405.00, "as we billed your health insurance and your deductible hasn't been met." I asked why they didn't bill my vision insurance, the two young ladies responded that their business was out of network. I asked why I wasn't told this when I booked it, they said that's "not our job." I'm out. Done. Great doctor, LOUSY staff. It must be management, as the employees have changed, but their practices are the same. read more

I went to them for vision therapy after an auto accident. I called a couple times to ask them about how much money left on my pip. No one ever got back to me until my pip so far maxed out that end up having to pay thousands of dollars out-of-pocket. I would not recommend this place if you were dealing with a PIP or any other billing other than your insurance. They will screw you over and not be apologetic about it at all. read more

Customer services there has no value in this place, my wife could not make it appointment because she was very sick of COVID, and (Nikki Mullany) from NE eye care professionals called me, and told me that my wife had a appointment, and she is late. I told her that she is very sick, and can't make it. I was going to finish my sentence and look for another appointment, she went off on me and told me that next time let us know, and she hung up the phone on me. I was in shock. Who does that in a customer service facing job. I was in deep shock that a representative from this facility do such thing. Is that how they treat their patients. I had very high hopes for this place, but I would never recommend this place at all to any one, especially their Clackamas location. read more

Dr. Lee and the Optician, Stormi, have actively helped my right eye heal, when other Opthalmologists said, "let's just wait and see if your eye gets better after a year since the concussion". Frustrated... Had such high aspirations for this office but my experience was everything but enjoyable. Really would love to keep seeing Doctor Bruce but I met with a woman named heather and will likely not return. Kept trying to be sold frames I specially didn't want, for prices I couldn't afford and felt belittled when I asked for "something a bit easier on my wallet." Can get all this stuff anywhere in town, nothing unique, all major brands found at lens crafters. If ya want neat stuff, look at a smaller boutique. After seeing 3 other optometrists over a period of about one year-all of whom specialized in treating visual disorders-Dr. Bruce Wojciechowski was the first and only doctor to diagnose my youngest son's problem. What Dr. Wojciechowski discovered was that my son's binocular function wasn't working, so he had to suppress the vision in one eye or the other in order to process visual information at close range. In addition to his being ADHD & dyslexic, this explained why he wasn't reading (at the time, he was in 4th grade). After getting visual therapy at NW Eye Care and doing the at-home exercises for about 18mo, it started to turn around. That was nearly 20 years ago. In 2007 my son graduated from the Vancouver School for Arts & Academics with a 4-year scholarship to the School for The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; in 2013 he received his Masters degree in Sculpture from Yale's Graduate School of Art. Customer service is seriously lacking at this facility. If you need to know your own personal Rx or PD information, they will charge you $50 to receive it. I called around to 4 other places and they don't charge their customers for their own information. I will definitely not be going back to Northwest Eye Care Professionals... EVER. read more

Service was ok. But be aware of billing scam. When I had the service I ask and was told the total amount for the service was $200. I paid my portion $40 and they bill insurance for the rest. After 4 months they told me there were two invoice for almost $400, and I still owe money. I wont trust this place anymore. Shame on you guys. read more

Myself, husband and children all have services done here. The doctors and staff are always attentive and caring when we are in the office. The glasses always seem to be the newest fashions. I appreciate how attentive and helpful everyone is and that is the reason we have referred many friends and family to come here. read more

I had a thorough eye exam at the Northwest Eye Care Professionals and got my glasses prescription. I didn't want to spend a lot on the glasses so I went to Costco. I had to send the glasses back twice before I realized there may be something wrong with the prescription. I called Northwest Eye Care Professionals to recheck my eyes. They wouldn't do it, I had to get the glasses checked by their optical department who charged me for their time for not having gotten glasses through them. They after "checking the measurements" of my glasses for 20 minutes they came back to tell me the glasses were made wrong. I didn't believe them and went to Costco to get the glasses fixed the third time and decided get another eye exam to determine whether or not the prescription was correct. After paying out of pocket to get another eye exam elsewhere, it was determined that my initial prescription from Northwest Eye Care Professionals was in fact wrong. After this ordeal, I do not recommend anyone going to this unprofessional and elitist practice. read more

Literally one of my worst experience ever. Doctors were pretty nice and willing to help. However, they almost made me to pay extra $400 if I didn't double check with them. Also, Lexis Batres, who worked at the front desk, was extremely rude and unwilling to help. She treated me like someone who doesn't want to pay when I was reasonablly check the details of my payment (when they tried to make me pay extra $400) and she put me wait on the phone call for 10mins and didn't not give me any response. Also, they literally will not check on how patients feel about contacts unless yourself call them to ask. And, for reference, even I have already got a a pair of Ok-lens from there(which are like $1000) the regular check for my eyes still costs $40 each time. It makes me feel like if patients don't track the details of payment, they will take as much as possible from patients. read more

First lets talk about the good. The Doctors are pretty good. They are thorough, and they explain what they are doing and answer any questions you have. Let's move on to the not so good. The folks that you order products from are not helpful at all. They don't explain the costs of anything, and they have a tendency to be rude. I ordered a new pair of glasses and after a month all they were able to tell me is "The lab has had another problem making your lenses." When I asked to get credited back the money I spent on my glasses, they told me all sales are final...Even though I don't have a product yet. To summarize, I would say you can get an eye exam there, but do NOT order any products from them. read more

Their business operations are terrible. People don't call you back unless you ask someone you're actually able to reach to ask the other person to return your multiple phone calls or messages. This has occurred over the span of 4 months. And people in the office itself don't communicate with one another. It's insanely inefficient, the patient has to call every week with no replies back, and their receptionist (Ann?) is rude and simply awful. It feels like they care more about earning a buck than patient care and it's sad as I'm going to assume that that isn't the case at all. read more
