If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience with Pro Car Stereo was a complete…read moredisaster from start to finish. I went in to have an upgraded stereo system installed, with the agreement that it would be a one-day job. One day turned into three, which, while frustrating, I was willing to overlook given the complexities of modern audio systems. However, the real issues began once I actually got my vehicle back. Initially, the system sounded decent, but within 20 minutes, problems started. The speakers cut in and out, and then the entire system shut down. After stopping for fuel, the system restarted but shut down again a few blocks later. I returned to the shop immediately, leaving the car running to show the technician the problem. His response? "It was working when you left, so I know I did everything right." He then told me he didn't have time to look at it further that day and promised to follow up on Monday--which, of course, never happened. Fed up, I took my vehicle to another shop, only to learn the entire system needed rewiring. Holes had been drilled in my doors because he couldn't be bothered to fit the wires through the factory boots, wires were unsecured, and key equipment was missing that would have allowed the system to function correctly. Buyer beware: if you have a newer vehicle, I'd suggest avoiding this shop entirely. In my opinion, this job was way beyond their capability, but they took it on anyway, leading to costly and frustrating consequences for me. I don't usually leave reviews, but the poor quality of work and abysmal customer service here deserve a warning to others. Believe the negative reviews--I didn't, and now I'm paying the price.

Great service - quick and had exactly what we needed for a quick repair while on the road.read more

My computer took a dump towards the end of the story, but long story short, don't ever do business with those unprofessional morons. After my disasterous and completely unprofessional, not-to-mention, very expensive encounter with those idiots, I saught out a better alternative. Audio Addiction had a 5 star Yelp review. I called and talked to Garrett. He asked me to come in so he could look at what I wanted and needed. I needed him to fix everything that the un-named Stereo Store of 7th Avenue in Eugene screwed up, plus install some new equipment. He quoted me a hundred bucks less than the un-named Stereo Store on 7th quoted me, with all those extras. I agreed. Garrett and his tech, I wish I knew his name, did an outstanding job and did everything I asked with no bs excuses like the un-named manager at that Stereo Store on 7th Avenue provided, after the 3rd time I questioned him about it. What a joke they were. Audio Addiction installed everything beautifully and guaranteed their work for the life of my equipment. It's tuned perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much, Audio Addiction. You earned a customer for life.

Don't be discouraged by the fact that this is a new shop because it's backed by years of experience. I promise once you give them a try you'll never go anywhere else.

Lithia Ford recommended Good Vibrations so I stopped by to check it out. They were able to program the key to start the car. Ben helped us and explained exactly what had to be done. There was quite a bit involved to get it to work so it was worth the $350 to have it done. I started and shut it off numerous times to be sure there were no problems. The work has a warrantee and Ben said I could call if I had question or problems. I recommend Good Vibrations. They made sure the job was done right.

MUCH cleaner, dressed for the location; HOWEVER: He was clearly interested ONLY in selling me something-anything. He did a VERY poor job answering my questions, and when I shared the reasons I stopped by the store, it was obvious to me that he could not have been MORE DISINTERESTED if he had come out and said so to my face! He kept veering away from anything I wanted to talk about, and the entire time, he had this "Deer in the Headlights" look in his Eyes-I have no idea WHY he looked that way. He told me that John, the owner, was not there today. I have worked in the Recording Industry professionally. I have completed projects for the US Coast Guard, Oregon State Police, The National Park Service, and Lucasfilm. The Good Vibrations Employees I met today could not have been more UN-professional! It's a nice looking store, decent Gear, but the two employees I met today will have me looking elsewhere! I HATE writing bad reviews, but in this case, I feel it necessary to bring this situation to Johns attention! Bruce A. Forster

I definitely will be going out of town next time I need any car stereo work done. like I said they are very nice, but they are a complete rip off. go somewhere else. they don't deserve your business. I think $200 for less than 30 minutes of work is kind of ridiculous.

If you need it they will sell it and install it for you but if what you think you need is not right, they will also say so. You can't beat the combination of knowledge and honesty that this shop has! You can also count on them for CB's and marine-oriented entertainment electronics. It's not their major line of business but for those of you who use CB's or want a boat set up with an audio system meant for marine use, be sure to come by and see their offerings. I have dealt with this shop for over 20 years and give them a BIG thumbs up! They're also nice guys to boot :-)
