If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience with Pro Car Stereo was a complete disaster from start to finish. I went in to have an upgraded stereo system installed, with the agreement that it would be a one-day job. One day turned into three, which, while frustrating, I was willing to overlook given the complexities of modern audio systems. However, the real issues began once I actually got my vehicle back. Initially, the system sounded decent, but within 20 minutes, problems started. The speakers cut in and out, and then the entire system shut down. After stopping for fuel, the system restarted but shut down again a few blocks later. I returned to the shop immediately, leaving the car running to show the technician the problem. His response? "It was working when you left, so I know I did everything right." He then told me he didn't have time to look at it further that day and promised to follow up on Monday--which, of course, never happened. Fed up, I took my vehicle to another shop, only to learn the entire system needed rewiring. Holes had been drilled in my doors because he couldn't be bothered to fit the wires through the factory boots, wires were unsecured, and key equipment was missing that would have allowed the system to function correctly. Buyer beware: if you have a newer vehicle, I'd suggest avoiding this shop entirely. In my opinion, this job was way beyond their capability, but they took it on anyway, leading to costly and frustrating consequences for me. I don't usually leave reviews, but the poor quality of work and abysmal customer service here deserve a warning to others. I had my old speaker put in my new car. I ask a few places but felt good here. He had a few bumps along the way but it worked out good and now I have me bass in my new car can't wait to hear it and enjoy my drive agin. read more

I love these folks. They fixed exactly what was wrong and it's beautiful. I have a 10-year-old car that had intermittent troubles. They spent three minutes and diagnosed the problem, offered a variety of solutions from about $80.00 to $300.00, and I was out the door for $100.00. I AM SO HAPPY! I started by following the Vibrations to the top of Stephens and they started at almost $600.00 for a new Radio telling me that AFTER I spent that money, it could be something Speakers that would be another $250. to $350. I didn't like that answer, so I Zoomed out to the end of Diamond Lake Blvd yet their answer was almost identical. Since I didn't want to get into the area near $1,000.00 just to listen to Rush Limbaugh, I went to Pro Car Stereo. AMAZINGLY, he walked out to actually look at the car (something neither of the others did) and turned the key to diagnose the problem. I remember from a class I took years ago, "Diagnosis without Examination is Malpractice." The others looked at me and diagnosed my wallet, not my car. I went there in 2004 to have my Sirius radio installed into the dash of my KIA. The technician on duty did an excellent job. In 2006 I switched to XM and went to have the Sirius un-installed and XM installed. A different tech was working, but did the installation. I went back about 2 days later because I experiencing excessive static issues with the radio. I talked to the original tech that told me it's an easy fix (a grounding issue), but I will need to make an appointment. I came back in for the appointment the second tech was on duty and said he can't do anything about it, so he called in the owner. The owner showed up said "I was getting power; I was getting sound; and I was getting a signal; so there is no issue." He continued "the sound quality isn't their problem because the radio isn't one of theirs." I mentioned that I talked to the other tech and he told me he can fix it. The owner went on to impugn his own employee's expertise by saying he's new and he tends to speak to things he doesn't know to be factual. The owner said, "that for a price they can look it over, but they won't find anything." I told him "sure as long as the original tech I spoke to did the work." He told me, "that's not going to happen he's off today." It was clear he didn't want the original tech to look at the issue. I took the vehicle to Good Vibrations (PCS competition) and they dealt with the issue. I believe the techs are good at their job, but if you have to deal with the owner it can get messy. Unless there is a change in management/owner I WILL NOT GO BACK TO PRO-CAR STEREO!!! read more

Very helpful came in looking for a stereo for my new truck gentleman at the front was very helpful on possibilities and options that I could do for me. many price choices low to high. Came straight out to my truck to help look to see what we could do we looked at speakers and looked at boxes we discuss wiring options we discussed premium to standard overall a very good visit lots of helpful information. Great Service, Great Equipment, Prices as good as Walmart but Installed professionally. I needed a new deck and a couple of speakers for a used car I bought. It came with a cheap after-marketdeck that was no longer working. When they went in the saw how the last guy had busted a bunch of brackets and screws. They went in and fixed all that at no extra charge. I love my new deck. I can't believe how well it works with my phone. I would highly recommend that you give these guys a shot. read more

I had a head unit put in in two different vehicles here. Overall I was very pleased with the service. There is a tech that works the counter too who is very helpful and nice. Even when I had some issues with my wife's head unit he came outside and looked at it no questions asked. While even the owner gave me some good deals on a used face piece for my head unit, he's doesn't seem as concerned with helping the customers as the tech is. I'll likely go back for a new stereo in my new truck. read more
