They service Sprinter vans and RVs. Got an oil change from them. Nice, family-owned business that specializes in Mercedes vehicles.

The customer service has been up/down as the staff members change, but overall they have served us well. They aren't perfect but they have earned our loyalty and repeat business over the years. It's difficult to find a repair shop that you can trust, and these guys haven't driven me away yet. I try and schedule service appointments when I know that maintenance is coming, but their hours are very convenient whenever I have an emergency (nail in a tire, dead battery, etc.) and need a walk-in service. I don't use them for all my vehicle repairs but for the routine maintenance things they are my primary shop. As long as I have cars I will keep bringing them here. One thing to note: if you need tires but don't want Goodyear brand tires, they can get almost any brand of tire you want. Call them or go online and set it up ahead of time.

The first mechanic was fine and fair but took only cash. So for the second problem I needed a Certified one approved by Endurance Warranty. I'm having to appeal both REJECTED claims with them; what a pain! But not with JOHN MARTINEZ of Auto Master. By 2:30 the same day he'd diagnosed that the key fob transponder was dead. Replaced them. And after 7 years and 234k miles, it wasn't a surprise. John took care of it and I traveled the 5 hours from home to get my car 2 days later. Super nice guy in a busy shop. (He likes classics too so you know he knows what he's doing.) Being NAVY aviation man gave him creds with me too. In my business TRUST is absolutely essential because clients rely on my guidance to avoid the nightmare of probate for their estate after they die. Dealing with an auto problem far from home is very precarious too: Who are you to trust in a far away city? It's too easy to take advantage of someone in my situation. I now trust JOHN & I believe you can as well. Straight up guy. Go see him!

In my case, I went in to take my 11 year old Chevrolet for it's 200K mile tune up. Not only was his price on repairs very fair, he was thorough. And that professionalism, that pride in doing it right the first time is rare in today's world. An honest, experienced mechanic...Priceless.

There are other shops I use for regular preventive maintenance tasks but this is where I go when something is Broken. They are great at diagnosing that mysterious noise (what's that squeak?) or figuring out why the old truck just died by the side of the road. They are willing and able to tackle the oddball repairs that come up with old vehicles - the sort of repairs that the oil change shops aren't equipped to fix and the Dealers just don't want to fool with (motor mounts, valve cover gaskets, suspension work, etc.). Of course they are capable of oil changes and minor work. They sell name-brand tires. They are great at what they do. That said, sometimes the repairs are expensive but I never feel like I have been ripped off. They are keeping my old truck on the road for way less than the cost of a new one. They have coupons available on their website that help ease the pain a little. Actual repairs are expensive no matter where you go. The shop is very clean. The staff are all friendly and professional. I am not a mechanic but I know a lot about cars. I love the fact that they will listen to me and what I am saying and not treat me like I don't know anything. I appreciate the respect there. The technicians are obviously well-trained and skilled at their craft. They are a small, locally-owned shop, but this is not a fly-by-night, shade-tree operation. They are always willing to shuttle me home and pick me up later if repairs are going to take a while. Sometimes the communication isn't so timely when I'm sitting at home waiting for them to call, but they don't seem to mind if I call and bug them either. My experiences with them have all been positive. Highly recommended!

Decided to ignore it hoping it would just go away (because that's always a good plan, right?) 2. Call my brother to ask him if he knew what the sound meant. That call went like this: Me-"something is wrong with my car. It's making a weird noise." Brother-"what kind of noise is it making? Can you make it for me?" Me-"sure, it's like 'greeeeaaatchhh' when I press the brake." Brother-"what does it sound like again?" Me-"GREEEEEAAATCHHHH". Brother-"hmmm, make the noise one more time." Me-"GREEEEAAATCHHHHHHH!" Brother-(and all of his buddies at work) all laughing like fools...because he put me on speaker so that all of them could hear my ridiculous noise. Grrrr. Thanks, bro. He wasn't sure but he thought it was the brake pads that needed to be replaced and said to call our dad. My dad pretty much confirmed what my brother said and told me exactly what to go in and say and made me repeat it back to him because "if you sound like you don't know what you're talking about they might try to screw you over and if that happens I'll have to drive there and kill someone." LOL. Anyway, the guys at Firestone diagnosed the problem and all are professional and courteous. As I write this review I'm waiting on my new front brake pads. The waiting room is nice and has plenty of places to sit and wait and there's complimentary coffee and water. They also have a vending machine for a snack should you want one. I'd definitely come here again if I needed any car repair needs or tires.
