Not saying that they sold me a bunk tire as it could have been something I hit on the interstate! Never less they stepped up their game by taking care of us! Believing this was an error, I returned to the shop only to be told that they don't even sell tires at the price I was quoted on the phone. There was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation, only gaslighting and excuses. I nor my family or friends will ever be returning to this place. There's too many other honest shops around to settle for one that is dishonest to customers and does bad business. Hopefully they do better moving forward.

This place took care of me quickly and professionally! I originally went to Sam's and ordered…read moretires for my Ford F150 that I needed before a road trip in a week. They told me the tires should arrive in 2-3 days. That changed to 3-5 days. On the 5th day they told me they weren't sure when the tires would be in. I checked with Tire Town and they said they could have the tires that day. I cancelled the order at Sam's and had the set of new tires put on at Tire Town. Also, their prices were the same as Sam's. So I got faster service and, in my opinion, better value from Tire Town. I will be taking my business to them moving forward.

It was the last thing on our minds during our recent vacation to NOLA and the surrounding area. We were driving from New Orleans to Slidell to take a tour of the swamp. As we started over the Highway 11 Bridge, it happened. The rear passenger tire blew. As luck would have it, we found R& D Tires and Service. They're off the beaten path, but that path was on the way to our tour. Even better, they are open 24 hours. We were very happy to discover them. My husband made a call and found they had a replacement tire for our car in stock. We took the tour and then went back down the road. When we pulled into the lot, we were greeted immediately. I went inside to wait and less than ten minutes later they were done. I'm not kidding. I couldn't believe it. 5 Star service start to finish.

We have bought many tires for many vehicles over the years. The customer service has been up/down as the staff members change, but overall they have served us well. They aren't perfect but they have earned our loyalty and repeat business over the years. It's difficult to find a repair shop that you can trust, and these guys haven't driven me away yet. I try and schedule service appointments when I know that maintenance is coming, but their hours are very convenient whenever I have an emergency (nail in a tire, dead battery, etc.) and need a walk-in service. I don't use them for all my vehicle repairs but for the routine maintenance things they are my primary shop. As long as I have cars I will keep bringing them here. One thing to note: if you need tires but don't want Goodyear brand tires, they can get almost any brand of tire you want. Call them or go online and set it up ahead of time.

The parking lot gets full, the store is difficult to move around in (especially on the weekends) and I can never get out for less than $200 bucks, but it is still awesome. Membership is $40, but if you go frequently it will pay for itself. One negative is the lack of payment and bagging options. As for bags, there are none. You use old boxes to haul away your purchases. As for payment, they don't take most credit cards. I believe it is either debit, cash, check or mastercard. Sam's does offer a free one day pass if you are considering membership. It is well worth it just to peruse the store.
