My family and I have been bringing our cars to these guys for years. They used to be on the other side of town by the old Slidell Mall before they moved to this Fremaux Town Center location. We have bought many tires for many vehicles over the years. The customer service has been up/down as the staff members change, but overall they have served us well. They aren't perfect but they have earned our loyalty and repeat business over the years. It's difficult to find a repair shop that you can trust, and these guys haven't driven me away yet. I try and schedule service appointments when I know that maintenance is coming, but their hours are very convenient whenever I have an emergency (nail in a tire, dead battery, etc.) and need a walk-in service. I don't use them for all my vehicle repairs but for the routine maintenance things they are my primary shop. As long as I have cars I will keep bringing them here. One thing to note: if you need tires but don't want Goodyear brand tires, they can get almost any brand of tire you want. Call them or go online and set it up ahead of time. read more

Our car wouldn't start after a day of shopping at the Town Center Shopping Center. My husband, thank goodness, remembered that there was a GoodYear Shop near the TJMaxx where we were parked. He called and someone showed up within 10 minutes and had us on our way. I brought my vehicle in to get an oil change on 11/22/2024. I was told it would be a while and asked if I could leave it, I reluctantly did. When picking my vehicle up from being serviced I noticed both of my front wheels were damaged. Upon noticing the damage management was questioned about what happened. They tried to tell me the damage was already there when I dropped the vehicle off for service, it wasn't damaged before. I asked management how were they going to make this right? AUSTIN offered to repair the wheels. I told him they were too expensive and just purchased I wanted them replaced. He informed me that wasn't an option. I contacted corporate about the damage caused to my vehicle. They did a sorry excuse of an investigation and told me they weren't at fault and refused to repair or replace my new wheels. I will never do business with this location again as its employees lack honesty and integrity. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with this location. read more

I was traveling from New Orleans to Florida for a family emergency when my engine light came on in Slidell and my car started shuddering. I pulled over at a gas station and called around to find someone to look at my car. Needless to say, I was panicked, and most places were either closed or didn't have the right staff to look at my car. I called Goodyear and though Aaron told me they didn't have engine technicians that day (it was Sunday) he had me come by so he could look at it and hopefully it was an obvious fix. It turned out when I got my oil changed that morning in New Orleans they had left my vacuum hose unhooked. Aaron fixed it right away and I was back on the road. We were traveling from Metairie to Pensacola when the screws to a panel located below the vehicle fell out. The panel was hanging down & making a lot of noise. So I meant to write this earlier but I forgot. I do not recommend the new Goodyear on fremaux. My friend had a wheel fall off after having her car worked on there. I asked the service writer about it and he assured me that is was because she only had 3 lug nuts on her wheel, that their only error was not noting it and demanding it be fixed first. Now having driven long distances on only 3 lugs I find this hard to believe, but ok, besides I'm there for an alignment and not tire work anyway. I get my truck back and the caster is set hard right. The service writer tells me the mechanic said that it was non adjustable. I promptly let him know that his mechanic is full of shit because with slotted upper control arms and eccentrics you can adjust all those angles in my truck. He says let's talk to the service manager, who attempts to tell me maybe adjusting that angle isn't part of a standard alignment. Maybe they have to slot the strut towers and that's not included. I inform him that there are no strut towers on my truck. Again it has slotted upper control arms and torsion bar suspension. Now the inside people were very nice, and they did give me my money back. Their mechanics though are obviously not interested in doing quality work, and the service writers don't know enough to call them on it. I know it's a pain in the ass to adjust all the angles on my truck, especially when most cars are toe and go these days, but sorry, that's what I'm paying almost $100 for. Not recommended. read more
