In my business TRUST is absolutely essential because clients rely on my guidance to avoid the nightmare of probate for their estate after they die. That call went like this: Me-"something is wrong with my car. It's making a weird noise." Brother-"what kind of noise is it making? Can you make it for me?" Me-"sure, it's like 'greeeeaaatchhh' when I press the brake." Brother-"what does it sound like again?" Me-"GREEEEEAAATCHHHH". Brother-"hmmm, make the noise one more time." Me-"GREEEEAAATCHHHHHHH!" Brother-(and all of his buddies at work) all laughing like fools...because he put me on speaker so that all of them could hear my ridiculous noise. Grrrr. Thanks, bro. He wasn't sure but he thought it was the brake pads that needed to be replaced and said to call our dad. My dad pretty much confirmed what my brother said and told me exactly what to go in and say and made me repeat it back to him because "if you sound like you don't know what you're talking about they might try to screw you over and if that happens I'll have to drive there and kill someone." LOL. Anyway, the guys at Firestone diagnosed the problem and all are professional and courteous. As I write this review I'm waiting on my new front brake pads. The waiting room is nice and has plenty of places to sit and wait and there's complimentary coffee and water. They also have a vending machine for a snack should you want one. I'd definitely come here again if I needed any car repair needs or tires.

Long story short .. brought Grandsons car in with a problem that had occurred with smoke coming…read morefrom steering wheel area - it did clear up before was brought in - but also he had heard a noise when applied brakes - Left car and next day said can't find a problem - with wiring - as for brakes - new brake shoes - told total like 298.00 - They called back - said found an issue with wheel bearing - ok'd to change that - then ok'd pick up - Grandson picked up car - however on way back home - car died - running terrible - finally got it home going 5 miles an hour- Brought back to him - & told to call me back - 3 days later - still can't get in touch with him - sent daughter to check on - Ultimately was told the motor is shot ! Says he won't charge me - But guess what ? The iron bar holding Motor together was broken in two pieces ! How did this happen? Guess will NEVER know the truth ... My daughter called me & said she handed owner the phone to explain everything to me - HE REFUSED- said he'd call me later .. guess I know now why his phone line was not accessible- Never did hear back from him ! She asked him why he never called us - replied - I was too upset - can't figure out the problem .. Sorry my eyes are rolling now ! Sorry - said it was going to be short - In short - Save Your CAR !!! Don't venture over there ! Having a tow truck pick up tomorrow- was told engine is ruined now - he won't charge us - well I guess not !!!! I had to leave my car over night because of the time it would take. They confirmed that they were right about what the issue was, they repaired it within one day (less than the time they said they may need) and charged a very reasonable price for the work.
