My insurance wouldn't cover the repairs, so I was stuck paying out of pocket. I was nearly ready to scrap the car and buy a used one, until I found Matsenko Auto. I spoke with Mike, who was very friendly and provided updates throughout the entire process. After explaining the situation, they took my car in without hesitation. They assessed the damage quickly and assured me it was no problem for them to fix, which gave me the confidence I needed that the car was in good hands. To top it off, they quoted me a price significantly lower than the other shops I contacted. The repairs took about a month due to backordered parts, but now my car looks good as new. I stopped by on 1/12/26 to obtain a quote for a tune up. He is also a technician and may also possibly be the owner. That was the vibe I was receiving from our discussion. I explain what my visit was and he advised me there are different types of tune ups and what specifically I was looking to have done. I explained that I was able to obtain a quote from Honda service department and they also advised same thing. I listed the tune up details and what Honda quoted ($2,260). Oleks advised that inspection is free of charge. He would have Alex, technician do the inspection and provide his recommendation. Alex completed the inspection and advised what needed to be replaced and some replacement were not needed. He discovered there was an engine oil leak, transmission oil leak and the engine oil pan plug was stripped. Oleks had provided me with a quote range between $700-$1000. I returned back two days later on the evening of 1/14/26 to drop off vehicle which was parked safely inside the shop. The following day they replaced the engine gasket, replaced spark plugs, water pump, front crank seal, drive belt, oil pan plug and drive belt tensioner. I picked up my vehicle on 1/25/26. The sum of my bill came to $1021.80. I am truly satisfied and happy with the work that technician, Alex has completed. It was a reasonable timeframe and price. Honest work.
