There is a restaurant and bar next door but it is definitely not a full fledged operation where there is a floating marshal throughout the course nor are there GPS units on the golf carts. The course is decently maintained, not fancy with creative water traps but enjoyable to play with some challenge. I really enjoyed the flat course and didn't lose 1 ball today. The staff were acommodating and the rented clubs were also decent to use. Overall, I would return and play again if I am in the Richmond vicinity.

The course itself was a lot of fun and the greens were in pretty good shape! The par 5s are reachable in 2, the par 3s aren't super tough, and the course as whole offers challenges for both good and beginner golfers. When we went, they were only allowing golf carts on the first 9 holes, and walking only on the back (due to construction) so we decided to get a push cart for the entire round. This was a great decision. The course is flatter without a ton of elevation, so it was a fairly easy course to walk. Getting a tee time, you can do so through their online portal. They charge a booking fee to book ahead of time, but it's worth it. We waited until the week before and the only available tee times were early morning or late late afternoon. If this is a course you want to play, definitely book as far ahead as possible.

Ive played at the course since the 90s and they have the same balls they did when I first started playing here. They fly sporadically and I lose about 30 yards on my pitching wedge. Mostly it was adults when we went though and outdoor beverages are highly encouraged as there were many trash cans for bottles and cans all over the course. Hole 5 was the most epic one for video; surprised that's not hole 18 worthy instead. Coming on a weekday was great. There wasn't too many people and at most there was a couple in front of us and a couple behind us. I can imagine this place being a lot busier on the weekends. We initially went to the wrong side. The entrance for the mini golf payment is actually past the white lamps inside the restaurant. And the. I have always enjoyed pitch and putt but it is quite hard to find friends who are interested in it. I finally found some people who are regular golfers and don't mind pitch and putt too. Things have definitely changed. I remembered the course as being smaller or maybe just 9-hole? Or it has always been 18-holes? My recollection is not the most accurate now but I did remember just having a putter and ball and tee. Not necessary to have min 3 clubs or a bag like now. You need a putter, pitching wedge, iron 7 and 9 all in a carry bag now. It's still a good idea to have at least 2 balls in case you lose it. Weekends are busy, in both the carpark and pitch and putt. The drainage is also excellent after they renovated it in the fall -- I often played early morning back 9s and it's great. The course itself is a nice layout with relatively good conditions however there are some sour spots during off-season (even as of March 19, the damage from drainage installation is not finished and some greens are patchy). However, they do not have a great setup for warming up. There is no range (that is fine) but I find that even the nets/cage area leaves a bit to be desired. It is not in great condition and I even saw someone hit the crossbar and have a ball flying back. The practice green is often closed.
