The course itself was a lot of fun and the greens were in pretty good shape! The par 5s are reachable in 2, the par 3s aren't super tough, and the course as whole offers challenges for both good and beginner golfers. When we went, they were only allowing golf carts on the first 9 holes, and walking only on the back (due to construction) so we decided to get a push cart for the entire round. This was a great decision. The course is flatter without a ton of elevation, so it was a fairly easy course to walk. Getting a tee time, you can do so through their online portal. They charge a booking fee to book ahead of time, but it's worth it. We waited until the week before and the only available tee times were early morning or late late afternoon. If this is a course you want to play, definitely book as far ahead as possible.

Ive played at the course since the 90s and they have the same balls they did when I first started playing here. They fly sporadically and I lose about 30 yards on my pitching wedge. There is a restaurant and bar next door but it is definitely not a full fledged operation where there is a floating marshal throughout the course nor are there GPS units on the golf carts. The course is decently maintained, not fancy with creative water traps but enjoyable to play with some challenge. I really enjoyed the flat course and didn't lose 1 ball today. The staff were acommodating and the rented clubs were also decent to use. Overall, I would return and play again if I am in the Richmond vicinity.

Some players were hitting balls really hard when they were practicing (one nearly missed my head while I was playing the third or fourth hole) so I would suggest being alert of your surroundings. Other players in front and behind us were respectful overall of the games that were going on around them. Friendly efficient staff too.

I have always enjoyed pitch and putt but it is quite hard to find friends who are interested in it. I finally found some people who are regular golfers and don't mind pitch and putt too. Things have definitely changed. I remembered the course as being smaller or maybe just 9-hole? Or it has always been 18-holes? My recollection is not the most accurate now but I did remember just having a putter and ball and tee. Not necessary to have min 3 clubs or a bag like now. You need a putter, pitching wedge, iron 7 and 9 all in a carry bag now. It's still a good idea to have at least 2 balls in case you lose it. Weekends are busy, in both the carpark and pitch and putt. There were several groups ahead of us and we waited at least half an hour before it was our turn. If you do not like waiting, come during the weekdays. I had fun here and it was a pretty good workout. You can get close to 10k steps here going through all 18-hole.

One of the worst golf experiences we've had in years. Our…read moregroup takes annual golf trips across BC, and we understand that each course has its own policies -- but the management at King Links seems to go out of their way to be unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Right from the start, one of our group members was yelled at for briefly driving his golf cart to load up our bags from the car. Instead of calmly informing us of the course policy, the staff chose to escalate the situation with hostility. A simple "Hey, carts aren't allowed there" would have done the trick -- like any reasonable course staff would do. We also had an 11-year-old junior golfer with us -- an experienced and respectful kid who had played with us at another course the day before with no issue. But at King Links, we were repeatedly told "no kids allowed," despite there being no mention of this anywhere on their website. They even went as far as to tell him he couldn't practice putting and to "wait in the car." Really? That's how you treat young golfers and future players? The course itself is poorly maintained, and the pace of play is made worse by a hyper-aggressive marshal zipping around trying to rush players -- even when we had just started our round. After reading other reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated experience. Whether it's a power trip or something else entirely, the attitude of the management team is unacceptable. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone who values respectful treatment and a relaxed golf experience.
