But their old Chicago brand stuff work great I've had several hand tools for almost 15 years that still work. Not sure what they've switch to these days. Great selection of items they never disappoint. They've added power washer stuff now too which is a very fun project to get into. I see someone with a 1 star review, but I can't say I'm surprised by the way that person gives Every business they encounter a 1 star review...sad how some people are here just to vent their frustration and not give local businesses a fair and impartial review. Check this place out for yourself to see the truth in the middle. My only concern with this location is the employees are not always so friendly and will actively avoid customers lol. So your best bet to getting assistance is asking the cashier. Oh they have great starter tools that are plug in, in case you're looking for good quality tool that won't break the bank. I had pickup set for 2pm and when I got there they told me to drive around to the garden center. My order was not ready.. I wasn't in a rush so no biggie. The guy who got my order was an angry bird. It was about 25 minutes to get my order from start to finish. He wheeled over 10 bags on one cart, not saying a word to me. Im a disabled veteran with back issues and I guess he assumed I was going to load it up myself. When he came over with the 2nd cart he let out a loud sign of anger. He loaded up the first amount and I opened the doors to my back seats so he could load the rest in the backseat for me. He broke my rear dashcam and didn't say a word to me, so sorry no nothing. I forgot to put that part on my survey I got after the fact. He loaded up the back seta huffing and buffing. The kind of huffing and puffing as to say screw you, you should be doing this. People pay for pickup for different reasons. This is his JOB. if he doesn't like his job he should do something else. After he was done, he didn't close any doors, I said thank you and he didn't say a word to me. He wouldn't acknowledge me at any time during the transaction, just stormed off in a huffy. On the survey it asked if you wanted a store manager to contact you and I said yes, but no one ever contacted me.

Looks like they had a bad batch of customers on their phone and could not get over it haha. The store is always busy but the flow of traffic always moves smoothly and fairly quickly. The staff here, for the most part, are knowledgeable and helpful with any assistance you may require. The store seems to always keep their shelves full and are quick to restock on items if they do happen to get sold out. They also give a Veterans Discount for all the men and women who happen to shop there that served for the country. I'm not a vet myself but I find the fact that they do that very admirable. I recommend shopping here and if you are trying to decide on which one is better in Johnson City you definitely will want this store.

The 3rd and last time I went I brought the person with The Wallet . we went up to the sales counter where an old women was standing with her head down. After 5 minutes we said Excuse me? She never even looked up. I would have thought her dead but the phone rang and she answered it! She looked right at us! So since then we have found companies who actually want our money.
