On the day we went to pick it up, we also decided to buy a bike for me. After trying several options, I finally chose one. All seemed good--until they brought out my husband's bike, which turned out to have completely different specs than what was originally offered. We began discussing alternatives with the salesperson, and my husband started trying other models. Suddenly, the salesperson walked off to the parking lot because a friend of his had arrived. They came inside, but instead of continuing to help us, the salesperson turned his full attention to his friends and completely ignored us, it wasn't just a moment, it was at least 15-20 min, So we left. Thankfully, we then went to a store in Whitby where the experience was completely different. We were warmly welcomed, given clear explanations of so many options, and ended up purchasing two bikes very quickly. That's how customer service should be.

He took the time to answer all my questions (silly ones and all) and was honest in the advice he gave. All of Andy's staff are also helpful and knowledgeable especially Ryan who took the time to help me pick out the perfect bike helmet while Andy was getting my bike ready. Before making the purchase, he asked great questions to determine what type of bike would fit my needs then showed me to those types of models. I was able to ride a couple of bikes to get a feel for the difference and determine which I liked better. In the end I went with the purple 2017 Specialized Vita model in small. It rides so smooth, is comfortable and brings back that feeling of freedom, pure joy and FUN! I had forgotten how amazing it feels to ride a bicycle since I haven't had one in over 25 years!! I'm so looking forward to taking this awesome piece of perfection on the road. Unfortunately my Co2 inflator malfunctioned: I had a repaired tire but no air. A quick online search showed that Dream Cyclery was just a few blocks away. I knew as a reputable shop that they would have air available for those who need it in a pinch. And yes, as I arrived, there was the air hose as I had hoped. Noticing it was only Schraeder-ready I went into the shop to borrow an adapter and say thanks for the rescue. No thanks needed. Just 5 bucks. That's right, any cyclist with Presta valves must pay for the tiny brass adapter in order to use the "free air." The staffer seemed embarrassed to be charging me $5 for a piece that costs no more than a nickel. With the next nearest bike shop a significant walk away, I had no other choice. How chintzy is that! It wouldn't be so obnoxious if they were charging a dollar to cover the cost of providing them, or asking for a donation to a favourite charity (Cycle Toronto?) but this feels likes mean-spirited gouging. Looks like a nice shop. Sorry I will not be visiting again.

Even after watching a ton of YouTube videos I always has problems as I don't have the proper tools for those fine adjustments especially with the cables and chains! Small family run place that is always busy as they are very reliable and very fairly priced. Located off old Kennedy they quote you the price on the spot and you leave it there if they are busy and will contact you when ready. The pandemic has been good to them as more and more people are riding there bikes these days so more repairs are needed. They also sell bikes too but have only done repairs here. Great place to get your bike fixed!!

Had an unpleasant experience at the store this afternoon. I called the store to confirm that the…read morebike was ready before coming in to pick it up and when I got there the bike wasn't ready. There was a miscommunication and instead of resolving it with me, the store owner blamed it on me (the customer) which I'm paying for a service and was treated rudely. When I got my bike the tires weren't pumped and the chain wasn't greased and had ask for that to be done when it should be already be done! Honestly, with the amount they had already charged me and making me come back twice and how rudely I was treated, I won't be going back there again...It's too bad as it was a decent cycle shop before they had poor communication skills and start blaming on the customer and stopped doing decent extra work like pumping the tires and greasing the chain after a service. I will go elsewhere next time.
