A VERY CARING STYLIST!…read more Julie is a wonderful stylist that will actually comment on your choices in order to keep your hair healthy. For the longest time, I have always gone to salons and no one ever educated me on keeping my hair healthy. Of course, you don't have to follow Julie's advice, as she is a very easy-going, communicative, and fun experience where you can learn a lot about your hair. But in the end, if you want healthy hair, I'd follow Julie's choices because you can never go wrong with her amazing skills. And, in the end, she gave me the best perm ever while also cleaning up my damaged hair, was very flexible with my booking, and taught me how to keep my hair cared for. Everyone loves my perm, my hair has awesome volume all while being still healthy and lush. Julie is extremely worth the drive, she is one of the few people in the Seattle area that does perms and does them EXCELLENT! Also, great male haircuts too!

Peyton was my stylist and as someone who generally is really nervous about taking, i actually thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. and i'm very happy with my haircut. i honestly didn't know what i wanted done - i just wanted to like my hair again. and after my appointment today, i definitely did. i told her i wanted my curtain bangs cut but wasn't sure how long or short they should be, and i didn't really have any answers to her questions because i wasn't sure what i wanted... but she was very patient with me and after telling her to just do whatever felt right, she gave me a lovely haircut with exactly the result i was hoping for. she even curled my hair at the end for me (with permission lol) which i didn't plan on but was happy to have done, and the products she used smelled and felt great! the salon itself was very cute, had good music playing, and was super comfortable. my haircut (trim and styling) was $60, and completely worth it. I'll definitely be coming back in a few months.

The owner and her daughter, wonderful people. Very pleasant to talk to and were very personable…read more The atmosphere? Amazing! Modern and simple design inside with several chairs. My review is based on the service... it was not good. I came in asking for money pieces and a calico under neath. The owners daughter did my hair, mostly.... It was supposed to be an estimated 3-4 hour appointment, hourly color correction is how she wanted to charge me. I was fine with that after our consultation and she explained why. So first part fine, I just sat there talking. But when she finishes rinsing the color and toner, I stared in the mirror and just as she was looking at it she got quiet. She started showing me and I just started crying. I was 3 hours into my appointment and my money pieces were yellow. The calico was supposed to be blonde, red, and brown. It was yellow, pink, and brown. She said she didn't know why the red didn't take. I had to walk out to collect myself. I came in a minute later and they offered to tone it more and add more red. Now we were past the 4 hours. She had other appointments coming in and I had to sit and wait in between customers. The owner (her mom) came and helped between but I ended up sitting there for 6 hours in total. My hair was still nothing like any of the photos. I just wanted to leave so I said that was fine. I didn't want to keep waiting between other clients because she didn't leave enough time to work on my hair. I never took photos of the final color result because I hated it so much, wish I did now. The stylist did take a photo to show me the back at the end of the appointment, but I never got one. But now about 5 weeks later I decided to get it fixed, and I was shocked! This new stylist asked who did my hair and where because the cut was so bad and jagged and absolutely chopped in the back. I obviously don't look at the back of my head very much so I had no idea. I walked around like this for weeks with not a clue. I paid HUNDREDS of dollars and even left a tip because I felt it was a genuine interaction. She just doesn't know how to do hair is really the only thing I can figure at this point. She did offer to fix it but she didn't say for free so I wasn't going to come back and pay more money when it was already a very bad experience. Why would I trust you to fix it? During the consultation I told them both I had a very bad experience with someone a few months prior and I was nervous to try another salon. I trusted them and they sounded confident... I don't know about the other stylists but I do not recommend the daughter to do cuts or color. (I forgot her name)

Katie saved the day!…read more I had a bad experience before coming to Katie, who helped me walk out with a super cute cut/color. I had asked for a shaggy bob with curtain bangs, in a red/blonde shade. Unfortunately, I'd ended up with a badly uneven sorta-bob, micro bangs, unblended layers, a lot of weight at the bottom, and splotchy balayage. Katie worked a lot of magic and set me up with a near-replica of the inspo pic I'd been going for initially. She did the impossible and salvaged my too-short bangs, plus showed me how to style them until they grow back fully. I love the shaggy bob she gave me and the super-dimensional color is my favorite I've ever had! I can't recommend this salon and specifically Katie enough! Great cut/color and such a kind person to top it off. 10/10 will be back

The hair lady that I was going to was amazing but she was off the same days I was off so I never got to see her and my hair was SOOO needing some love! I booked with Sydney and she was so frickin sweet from start to finish. Conversation was easy and didn't feel forced at all. She gave me a lot of reassurance and kept reminding me that she would try her best to get me to the color that I wanted without melting my hair off but that it would probably be a couple visits. That was totally understandable but the amount of times she told me made me so sad because that just tells me that someone or some people in the past have probably been upset with their results but come on people! Hair takes time and money and if your hair wants to cooperate, awesome. If not, be patient because this girl (and any other hair stylist) does not want their ass on the line if your hair does end up melting away! lol. Anyway, since my first visit in November '18, I've been back a few times to get it touched up and it's pleasant every time.
