I brought in my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G after it suddenly started draining the battery in minutes, wouldn't hold a charge, and forced itself into a "safety lock" airplane mode that blocked access to all my photos, contacts, and documents. I was panicked thinking I'd have to buy a new phone and lose my data. From the moment I called, the owner, J, was incredibly helpful. When I arrived at the shop (located right at the intersection of Red Lion & Verree), I was greeted with a warm smile and a kind personality. The most impressive part of the experience was their transparency. They have a camera at the technician's desk linked to an overhead TV screen. J and the tech showed me a magnified view of my phone's internals so I could see the exact damage to the battery conductor/connector. I was even able to watch the technician perform the repair live on the screen! It was fascinating and gave me total peace of mind. They had the exact part I needed in stock, and instead of walking out with a "dead" phone, I walked out just an hour later with my device cleaned and working perfectly. While I was waiting, I noticed a steady stream of customers dropping off and picking up laptops, game consoles, and cell phones, which clearly shows how much the community trusts them. I bought a flip phone from 9983 bustleton ave store on Aug 30th, 2024. I paid with a credit card…read more When I asked for a receipt before leaving the store the clerk was surprised. When he handed me the receipt, he gave me a phone charger off the wall telling me it was free. When I got home and looked at the receipt, I found that he charged me for the charger. Apparently, he was going to pocket the money for the charger until I asked for the receipt. I called customer service and they told me to go back and get a refund. I went back to the store and they would not give me a refund. While at the store I called customer service again and they then gave me refund. The clerk told me to never come back to his store again. I said fine. I went home. The first time I used the phone was Sept 2nd and it would not work. I called customer service and they told me to go back to the store for an exchange. That wasn't happening. I have been on the phone with metro customer service many times since. They put me on hold then send me to a half dozen stores all of which say from the video I took that something is wrong but they cannot warranty it. I have talked to their warranty co several times but because I did not drop it or wet it they say it was not covered. Finaly after 3 hours on the phone today they said they will put me through to claims dept to get another phone. But when they transfered me it would go back to the original call in phone number and everyone I talked to was acting like this was the first time I was calling. After 3 hours on the phone and the 7th person I talked to I decided to write this review. i will never buy from a metro store again 1. How can you sell a phone and not warranty it when I have the paperwork.

I visited this location and explained to the Verizon member Andrew that I wanted the A17, telling me that it was out of stock. He pushes the Samsung S26 which I clearly explained multiple times I did not want a high-end smart phone, when I am looking to add a 5th phone onto the account in the coming months. When I said that I wanted to order the Samsung A17 and I would pick it up at the store, by a miracle from the heavens, they located the phone I insisted on in stock. Never mind the fact that I am a long-term customer, but since he could not upsell me, I was no longer of importance. I asked about accessories for the phone and I was told they did not have any for this phone. Congratulations Verizon, I am taking my business elsewhere. Including my home internet and cable, all of which I get through you.

Did not help or go over options but did try and up sell me an i pad or iWatch as free (but then admitted $7 month service fee for life of phone). Got phone for my daughter drove back to Center City Phila and then realized I got wrong phone since salesperson did not go over options (pro, pro plus). Took my 12-yr old back with me. Arrived at 2:00 pm and was put into que 7 people back. Workers were clueless and miserable and other customers getting irritated. Some employees just walking around or going into back room and not returning for 15-30 minutes. Assistance Manager RALPHIE (ear buds in) and not helping one-person despite the line. Finally at 3:15 p.m. meet with a salesman and tell him need to exchange for iPhone pro. He gets asst manager involved and 30 minutes later have daughter's phone. They again charge my credit card. We walked outside and my daughter realizes salesman gave her iPhone pro plus and not pro. Walk back into store. Same stuff with miserable employees. Asst Manager Ralphie comes over and asks why back in store. Explained to him that got wrong phone. Also told him we had a family dinner about half hour away and needed quick exchange. Handed him cc again to fix. Ralphie goes into back for 45 minutes and my daughter and I stand around. All employees there miserable. Finally Ralphie emerges calling me and 12 yr daughter "BRO" and explains having issue with it but is on phone with tech. I asked why tech if just a return. No response. He goes back into back room. With dinner approaching and a 12-yr old trying to calm down. Go up to salesman and tell him bc he gave us pro max and not pro he caused us to be there over 2 more hours and miss family dinner. He immediately sells asst manager under rug and says Ralphie was one who grabbed the wrong phone. Sit again and wait for 30 minutes. Ralphie comes from back and opens door and says "F_ _ K" as approaching me and 12 yr old daughter. I confront him for cursing and dropping F Bomb in front of my daughter. He blows it off and says was not saying it to my daughter but just saying it. He says still working on it. I said no just transfer money back and cancel order. Go outside and now my daughter phone is shut off. Go back into store and deal with Ralphie again. He tries to get my daughter phone working and tells her to just take pro max on him. Told him she wants pro and does not want large phone. As he was trying to get her phone on salesman tells Ralphie someone one was on phone to walk him through giving her right phone. He does not even look up. I tell him now that we missed dinner go do it and give her right phone. He goes in back in total disgust. As he is in back one of his employees tells me Ralphie was not cursing at my daughter. I said I hope not but would you agree 1) he dopped f bomb in front of 12 yr old, 2) not appropriate thing to do - he agreed with both. Finally got my daughters right phone @ 4:45. Charged for 3 phones still on my cc. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL EXPEREINCE. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
