The most impressive part of the experience was their transparency. They have a camera at the technician's desk linked to an overhead TV screen. J and the tech showed me a magnified view of my phone's internals so I could see the exact damage to the battery conductor/connector. I was even able to watch the technician perform the repair live on the screen! It was fascinating and gave me total peace of mind. They had the exact part I needed in stock, and instead of walking out with a "dead" phone, I walked out just an hour later with my device cleaned and working perfectly. I forgot I had a screen protector on and that was what cracked. He could have easily taken the phone in the back removed the screen protector and charged me for a "new screen". Needless to say he became my go to place for any electronic repairs needed. Couple days afterward, I really cracked my Apple Watch and was heartbroken. Apple wanted about as much as a new watch would cost to fix it. Aaron's price was fair and he even fixed the crown which had become unresponsive after the screen cracked. When he handed me the receipt, he gave me a phone charger off the wall telling me it was free. When I got home and looked at the receipt, I found that he charged me for the charger. Apparently, he was going to pocket the money for the charger until I asked for the receipt. I called customer service and they told me to go back and get a refund. I went back to the store and they would not give me a refund. While at the store I called customer service again and they then gave me refund. The clerk told me to never come back to his store again. I said fine. I went home. The first time I used the phone was Sept 2nd and it would not work. I called customer service and they told me to go back to the store for an exchange. That wasn't happening. I have been on the phone with metro customer service many times since. They put me on hold then send me to a half dozen stores all of which say from the video I took that something is wrong but they cannot warranty it. I have talked to their warranty co several times but because I did not drop it or wet it they say it was not covered. Finaly after 3 hours on the phone today they said they will put me through to claims dept to get another phone. But when they transfered me it would go back to the original call in phone number and everyone I talked to was acting like this was the first time I was calling. After 3 hours on the phone and the 7th person I talked to I decided to write this review. i will never buy from a metro store again 1. How can you sell a phone and not warranty it when I have the paperwork.

Left and came back, was informed that the screen they put on it was defective but they were getting inventory and would still be able to fix it that day. Left again and as it got closer to closing time got no call, ended up calling the store but instead of connecting me to the store itself connected me to a 3rd party who claimed they'd contact them to get in contact with me for an update. Never got a call from them, ended up coming back before close ( around 6:30 ) and the neighboring business had to inform me that the employees had left and closed until the next morning. I did end up getting my phone the next morning and the screen is fixed, I can't say whether or not it will hold / malfunction or whether they'll honor the 90 day warranty if it ends up failing or breaking my phone, but the customer service is subpar and unprofessional and the communication is awful. Glad that I didn't end up with the experiences other people had but wouldn't recommend it considering how sketchy the entire transaction was. TLDR: Bad communication, indefinite completion times, unprofessional. Low prices but shady practice overall.
