I called re the over charge, he said was for using my credit card, reminded him he agreed to four fifty and use the card. He said he would be in the area tomorrow and would refund the overcharged amount- he didn't show up. I disputed the charge with Visa. They used my ladder and left it laying in the yard, it's very heavy. Jonathan said he would cut the wood in 16 inch lengths, but only cut up some of it. Cleanup was shoddy and they left my gate open, would I hire him again, no. Would not recommend his service, nor recommend using this site when in need of help. It looks absolutely gorgeous - my yard is definitely the nicest in the neighborhood now! He and his wife worked very hard and it was a pleasure working with Augustin. He also replaced all the very old and mismatched sprinkler heads that were there from before my time living here. He always showed up on time and completed projects when he said he would.  I give him the highest recommendation.

Mixed Experience - Kind Crew, But Lacking in Execution…read more I hired Abe's Yard Clean-Up for a large garden project and appreciated that the quote supported a small crew of respectful, hard-working young men. They were courteous and professional in demeanor, which I valued. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not match the price. Several areas of my yard were left uncleared, trimmings were not cleaned up, and there was little attention paid to garden features like solar lights. I requested a return visit to address what was missed, which they did--but the initial lack of detail was disappointing. Most frustrating was when a shovel of soil was tossed over my koi pond, leaving it full of dirt. I had to spend hours restoring the water quality myself. I do have photos documenting the issues. Overall, the experience was a mix--good intentions, kind workers, but a lack of follow-through and care in execution. I hope they grow from this, as they clearly have potential with better oversight.
