I previously wrote an excellent review about this company and had the opportunity to use them again…read morethis week. Rosa Ride was once again provided prompt and dependable service. The well maintained Mercedes SUV was extremely clean and comfortable. Orlando is such a pleasant man, helped with my luggage, enjoyed nice conversation on the ride, and he was extremely courteous. I flew out of LaGuardia on Sunday and returned on Tuesday morning. Orlando picked me up in New Fairfield in plenty of time to catch my flight and was at the airport waiting for me upon my return. Bottles of water are always in the vehicle along with snacks. There is also screens on the back of the front headrests if you want to watch movies during the ride to the airport. The fees for airport transport are comparable to what other companies in the area charge. For me, knowing that I can rely on airport transportation is very important which is why I will continue to choose Rosa Rides for my future travel plans which require flights from New York. I work for a very big company that used this service for patients taken to and from doctor visits…read more We need company's that transport, we have a lot! However; we will remove them from our system and never use them again! The lady (if that's what you want to call her). She answers the phone and she is the nastiest person we have spoken to at a transportation company! She really needs to be removed from that position if they want to have more business. She does not represent the company in a positive way. She must be a mean old woman who is unhappy with herself and takes it out on anyone she speaks too. I have read so very many reviews that say she is ugly. No one at any company should treat people the way she does! When we called, apparently we didn't speak fast enough and yelled into the phone, "are you going to talk or what?" Then she hung up. Do not use this company if you want to be treated with respect! The employees don't like her either, that says alot! SHE NEEDS A HAPPY MEAL!​

Office for Seniors I was referred to Carmel Taxi and had a voucher for partial payment (Yeah) because I was going to the Doctor. I made the reservation last week to ensure that I could count on this transportation. The nicest gentleman arrived promptly in clean, shinny car with proper identification on the outside. He put my Scooter into the trunk and made sure that i was in the into the back seat safely. We had a conversation covering many topics on the way to my destination. I had the good fortune of him bringing me home on my return trip. In the Spring I used another taxi service twice and I would rate them a 0 unfortunately. Then I tried Uber and have found Uber to vary greatly with drivers and vehicles, pricing is high with many add on fees. In the future I will call upon Carmel Taxi for my Transportation needs, I felt safe, well cared for and happy at the end of my rides. Thank you!

This has got to be the worst taxi service I have ever come across, ever…read more I use taxis pretty frequently, and around here we have a few choices. I haven't used this service in awhile and as I got into the taxi I started to remember why. First of all, I do want to give them props for calling when they reached my house, instead of honking in my driveway like some other taxis do. But it was hard to get into the taxi- the car door handle was missing and the driver wasn't aware. When he pulled out of my driveway, I had to type my destination into his phone which is annoying considering he could have done it himself while we were sitting there. The ride was quiet, I was on my phone texting my partner updates because he was going to pay for the taxi. I had remembered that this taxi service had always been wonky with their prices, and was hoping they'd charge near the normal amount. I take this ride weekly and get charged $12-$15. When we got to the house, he told me $20! I was shocked. I asked the driver to hold on while I got my partner to pay. When I told my partner the price, he was furious. He began demanding where the driver got the number from and was refusing to pay without explanation. The driver explained the price increase by saying we were basically paying for the ride from where he started, to my house, to my destination! The argument went on, we were charged unfairly. The driver had threatened to call the cops so my partner finally caved and left him $20. I can assure neither one of us will be using Southeast Taxi again. I want a consistent price, not made up ones. Also, taxis with door handles are nice.

But then your cab driver from Southeast Taxi and Car Service gets lost, ignores all your directions (literally sails right by the turns going Lord knows where?!), does not use GPS, takes an extra 1/2 hour to get you home and THEN charges you for the 1/2 hour of him ignoring directions and getting lost. what?! I ended getting out of the cab and walking the rest of the way home at midnight. I would never, ever use this company again. Buyer beware.
