During our holiday party, the driver refused to transport employees to pre-approved locations--despite written confirmation at the time of booking, which I retained. The three stops were all within half a mile of each other, and the venue itself was only three miles away, making the refusal both illogical and unnecessary. The driver was abrasive with our employees, and dispatch was equally unpleasant. While I understand the driver was following instructions, his tone and handling of the situation were entirely within his control and were unprofessional. The only resolution offered was removal of the driver's tip, which failed to address the broader issue of how the situation was managed by the team as a whole. Despite this, I gave Elite another opportunity for a Yankees game outing--and unfortunately, it was another poor experience. The bus's air conditioning was not functioning on the way down in 80-degree weather, making the ride extremely uncomfortable. We arrived at the stadium hot, sweaty, and exhausted. When I followed up the next day, the manager, Chelsea, was dismissive and unwilling to take any responsibility for the malfunctioning A/C or radio, citing that the vehicle had passed inspection prior to dispatch. She also questioned why I didn't report the issue immediately when the bus arrived, which was frustrating and misplaced. We were communicating with Ricardo (our very pleasant driver) how hot it was and he said it wasn't working properly. (Note: the bus arrived @ 4pm and I emailed them at 5:30pm.) The bottom line though is that it's unclear what could have been done mid-trip to resolve a mechanical issue, and placing that burden on the customer is unreasonable. There appears to be a consistent lack of accountability across the organization. The only remedy offered in both instances was removing the driver's tip, which does not address the root problems. The fact that their only proposed resolution is to remove the driver's tip is telling of how they treat their employees. This was an opportunity to make things right, but instead reinforced my decision not to use Elite again--and to advise others to avoid them as well.

A few days before the wedding the owner called to tell my sister he "didn't have" the passenger bus she had already paid for. A day later, he called to say he could replace it with a 37 passenger that would make two trips for guests going from the hotel to the reception. Not the greatest solution but now 3 days before the wedding what else could you do? The day of the wedding the party bus picks us up, drives 2 miles and immediately gets off the highway because the emergency light was on, it broke down 5 minutes after we boarded and the driver offered up NO SOLUTION WHATSOEVER to rectify the situation. Friends had to pick us up at the gas station and we started the mass an hour late. The best they could offer us...a shuttle that smelled like piss. We said no, took our own cars and after that they would not issue a refund. Though the did not deliver on any services! Even the 37 passenger van for guests departed early resulting in people having to take cabs!
