I needed to rent a canopy tent and some tables, chairs and linens for an outdoor bridal shower I was planning for my sister. I should've listened to my Father, who told me not to go here because the people are terrible. Specifically, he said the woman who answers the phone is evil. They were so close, and willing to deliver, so I ordered from them. We paid extra to have everything set up. It wasn't cheap. Off the bat, the woman who answers the phone was incredibly snippy and rude. When I tried to get a window of time that the equipment would be delivered, she said I would have to call that morning. When you're planning a large event, obviously you have errands to run and other deliveries, so it helps to plan ahead. I called her first thing the morning of the delivery day, and she snippily put me on hold, and would only confirm that my equipment was on the truck and out for delivery. When the boys finally arrived to set it up, they moved incredibly slowly. One boy sat in the truck eating breakfast while the other struggled with the tent. They carried one table and minimal chairs at a time. It probably could've taken 15 minutes but ended up taking 30. We had another appointment and were anxious to move on. They didn't set up the tables or chairs, but left them in piles. When I went to set up the dilapitated tables myself, I realized they were different heights so I couldn't set them up connected to each other, as I had planned. When I ordered tables the same dimensions, I didn't realize I needed to specify they all needed to be the same height, but learned the hard way. Overall, their attitudes were poor, equipment could have been better and they weren't very responsive. Next time I will use Taylor Rental on 139 in Pembroke, who I hear are very nice. read more
