Greatly disappointed to say the least. I paid $650 (including travel and set up fee) for my daughters 10th birthday to hire this company for a waterslide in my backyard. The slide was half deflated within an hour and two children for a huge 6 inch cut/gash from something poking out from the slide (that was likely one of the SEVEN patches that were attached to the faulty slide.) I called and talked to staff (who said management would call me back) no one called back after several attempts. I emailed too. They blocked my email. I am disgusted with how incredibly horrendous this company is doing business. read more

I ordered a splash set for my daughter's end of the year party. The Busy Bee Jumpers staff is VERY VERY nice, and responds to all questions (even the small matter) very very quickly. The equipment was set up one day prior to the party. At night I observed a "water leaking" and sent an email to the company. One person emailed me very quickly and told me to turn down my faucet a little bit. And the problem is resolved! The next morning the people who mowed my lawn disconnected all electricity and water pipes. I was nervous and called the customer service. The lady was extremely nice, and asked the technician to come to my house very quickly! The party was extremely successful! My daughter and her friends were so happy! We've rented from Busy Bee for several years without any issues...they always deliver early, their drivers are courteous, the company is prompt in their communications, we never had any issue. We recently ran into an issue with a bounce house we rented, and Sal was super quick to rectify the problem. Lessons in exceptional client experience can be gained from interfacing with Sal at Busy Bee. Won't go into details on the problem....let's just say that if you have a problem, you want the vendor to fix it quickly without any fuss. We rented the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse bounce house for my daughter's birthday party last summer and it was a HUGE hit. We couldn't get her out of it the entire day! The service was great - it arrived and was picked up on time. The only minor problem we ran into was that the strap that kept the net over the entrance of was broken so we had to keep an extra close eye on the kids to make sure they didn't come tumbling out while jumping around. It posed a bit of a safety hazard, but seemed like something the company could easily fix for future rentals. We'll definitely be renting from you guys again! read more

The Mickey jumpy house we rented was the highlight of my son's birthday. Busy bee was proactive with their busy schedule and delivered the bouncy house a day ahead of the party and didn't charge us the extra day. There was a slight mishap during the removal process but the owner Jimmy was super professional and handled it the right way. He even personally called me back to apologize for it. Overall - this was a great experience for a special 6 year old! The house was reasonably priced, and although the Frozen banner was unavailable, the Disney princesses were a hit. The set-up was on-time and done quite well. The house itself was very clean and inflated perfectly - in the past I have seen bouncy houses that seemed to have air leaks - none of that here! My wedding was this last Saturday and I contracted with another vendor back in March for tents, tables, lawn games etc. On June 10th she emailed me saying she could not provide the tent because the permitting process involved too many barriers (but this is what your business does, right?). I called the chief inspector and learned that the permitting process contained none of the steps she claimed. I was confused, but convinced her to try and get the permit and she did. Five days before my wedding she took the final payment and THEN informed me she had subcontracted with another tent company....that didn't have the type of tent we were promised. I took about two half-days of work trying to find a tent company at the last minute that had what we wanted and had been promised. Peterson recommended I call Busy Bee. I got ahold of Sal Longo and he made everything come together in three days. He arranged for delivery and pickup, he redid the permits, he added my venue as additional insured and provided the venue with Certificates on Insurance, AND at the last minute when the forecast looked bad, he added a second tent for us with no fuss whatsoever. Lo and behold, the other vendor completely no-showed with everything else making our wedding an exercise in the legalese of contract and consumer protection law. The day of the wedding Sal and Kiely attempted to even get us tables, linens and lights that weren't coming from another company. We ended up getting them elsewhere that had them ready to go, but I trust they would have found a way to get them to us if it was possible. I called them in the middle of the process and said "Taylor rental can get them here by 1:30, should I do that or do you think you can do it?" And Kiely said "If they've got it go for it, we are scrambling for you but I'm just not sure we have enough of what you need." To me, this is the sign of great people - they tell you to take care of your needs even when it means they lose a little extra business they've already worked for. After this experience I never want to throw a big party again, but if I do they'll be my first call. read more

We rented a bouncy house for our neighborhood block party on the 4th of July. Busy Bee delivered it on the 3rd, I believe because they were closed on the 4th, so it was great that we had it for almost 48 hours for the price of one day's rental! The guys who delivered it were very nice. My only complaint was that the bouncy house smelled a little weird, like it had been stored while it was wet and never properly dried. Each time I've received the best customer service and Everyone from the person answering phones to the persons delivering the rental are polite and make you feel like a vip customer. I recently had a little hiccup where my rental was just a bit dirty (in the crevices, nothing easy to see) and within a 30 second phone call they went above and beyond to make it right. Where to begin? I had a Sunday delivery for a bouncy castle combo with a slide. I was at Church when they delivered it, so i couldnt inspect it until later. It was full of water!, dirty water, not cleaned at all, the smell of mildew was pretty bad. I was furious! (mind you, after church service geesh). I call the driver immediately, he said there's nothing i can do call the office. I did, Denise was very accomodated, she said dont worry i'll replace it immediately, she apologize and said because of the rain yesterday they were wet.(OKAY, clean it, dry it before renting it to someone else). They did replace it with another wet one, but they wiped it clean with a dirty towel. Hey at that point i gave up, at least the kids were able to jump. People they dont clean the castles, its NOT SANITIZED or else i wouldnt had any issues from the beginning. They are pretty nice people, unfortunately the castle are not cleaned thoroughly. read more

we rented from his company recently. They were more than happy to take our check from us at set-up before the kids even had an opportunity to test it out. After an hour of bouncing, the jumper deflated on 8 kids!!! Terrified, we (adults) ran in and to get the kids out, some of whom where screaming with fright. We had 2 adults at the front of the jumper at all times supervising the kids, its a rule we set out from the beginning of the party due to some of the kids being so small. I called the emergency line and when a guy came out to check out the jumper, he neglected to ask for the OWNER of the house and instead took the word of a guest that it was back up and running. It was temporarily up and running due to DUCT TAPE. A man with an awful attitude then called me 2 days later to say obviously one of the kids had hit a button to defalte it. Absolutely not, because it was monitored every minute. It deflated again a couple of hours later and overall the kids barely got to use it. The guy who came out to check it said he 'checked it out.' which means he SAW the temporary duct tape wrapped around the hose and decided that was fine?? He should have told everyone to get off it and re-hooked it safely. Not a good memory for us and we certainly wont be recommending this company because their attitude is appalling, offensive and greedy. read more
