Cool vibe and VERY busy. The coffee we ordered tasted delicious and was extremely well made. It makes sense that North Perk Coffee is so well ranked. We ordered Lakeshore Mocha and Vanilla Oatmilk Espresso. I took pics AFTER we started drinking them!!!
Everytime we visit Petoskey, this is our coffee stop! And it never fails us, ALWAYS on point, always delicious, everyone is friendly and gives recommendations when I asked them. I've always tried one of their specialty seasonal coffees and I've always loved them. This time we came here right at opening and it was so chill and cozy to sip our coffee int he corner on the leather couches. I would like to have had some nice relaxing music in the background :) either was well be back
A little shop in downtown Petoskey with friendly baristas that serves all kinds of coffees and teas and limited pastries - there were only 2 left in the case when we arrived a bit after noon. While my spouse enjoyed a warm latte, I chose a cold mocha frappe. I appreciated the rich flavor of the coffee and chocolate; however, with rather large chunks of ice inside the drink, it became nearly impossible to sip it through a straw. I asked for a spoon to remove some of the ice so I could finish my frappe.
Great full service cafe. A relaxed environment where laptops and conversations thrive. I had the dark chocolate latte which was delicious. My wife had a chocolate frappe which was equally delicious. Baristas are friendly and coffee is reasonably priced. If you want a bakery item with your coffee, best be here before noon. There were only two bakery items remaining at 12:45 pm.
Lovely coffee shop in Petoskey- I liked it so much I had to go twice in my 3-day stay! Has lots of seating and is very clean. Also has a nice bathroom. Had a cappuccino, cinnamon roll from Tillie's Tafel, a caramel macchiato, and a chocolate croissant. Cappuccino with oat milk- very smooth and mellow, not bitter or burnt at all! Nice foam as well. Caramel macchiato- I've been craving a proper caramel macchiato and they nailed it! Not too sweet, lovely foam even with oat milk, and so delicious! Chocolate croissant- nice and flakey on the top part and a little chewy on the bottom half- very good. Cinnamon roll- nice ratio of icing and dough, plenty of cinnamon too, most cinnamon rolls I have are lacking but this was perfect. Very nice baristas and staff. I would come here again!
Cozy little coffee stop in old Petoskey. Relaxing atmosphere that's very popular with the locals and visitors, alike. It's busy every day, especially weekends. We landed during a nice Saturday afternoon lull. Enjoyed a calm soothing Tea and a cold brew. Plenty of tables and the noise level was perfect. Prices are no longer listed on the menus. My guess is they ran out of room. We're also in unpredictable times and it's probably a major task to pull those down and update them. Speaking of price, they do run high, but I suspect it could be higher, so we need to cope and enjoy the simple pleasures. It's a fun, cheerful staff that serves a very good brew. Already we've justified the cost. The room is, well, cute. Not spacious but not a problem. A wonderful place to take a small break from all that walking! 06/24

On a hot summer afternoon, North Perk Coffee is the perfect choice: a fun place to cool down, have a delicious and beautiful coffee drink or smoothie, enjoy a peaceful moment or the company of a companion. A small but delicious-looking assortment of baked goods were in the display case. There is enough seating to not feel crowded or rushed. Staff are friendly and efficient. Not nearly the wait of other downtown cafes. Glad we found this gem.
Located downtown within walking distance of the shopping in the historic district, north perk has chill vibes and great coffee. Staff is personable, and gives recommendations if you're having trouble choosing. Great place to meet up with friends as well.
The best coffee shop in Petoskey. The espresso and matcha are both great -- the Irish Cream latte was amazing and steamed really well. I tried the blueberry vanilla matcha and also lavender vanilla, both were lovely! They also have pastries and some gluten free snacks, which is a huge bonus! North Perk has the best atmosphere around, we love to sit and stay awhile whenever we're in town. Love the staff, love the space, love the drinks!
Logistics. This location is on Howard between Reids Alley and E Lake Street. Vibe and First Impressions. Open, a lot of light, and nautical-ish theme. Clean. Rustic. Hospitality. This was a really cute place with plenty of metered street parking. There's plenty of shops around if you want to take your drink to go. Prices were comparable to other coffee shops and the pumpkin cold foam I got was incredible! read more

Food- the iced specialty berry coffee was awful. It was a sugar concoction. The latte was not hot and had a funky milk flavor. Service- baristas with an attitude Ambiance- modern coffee shop This has to be one of the worst cups of coffee I have had in northern Michigan. If you don't like your drink they will not allow you to try something else in place of your nasty drink. Would NOT recommend this place! Not a single person liked their coffee that was traveling with us. read more

Fantastic store fantastic service! We walked in and my son had to wash his hands from the ice cream he just had. But I went to order and I was greeted by a very friendly barista. They had multiple alternative dairy options and this made me quiet happy. I ordered a small soy latte with one pump of vanilla and It is DELICIOUS! They also had so many flavors to choose from. The menu was way to read and the flavors were also written on a smaller board. I had forgotten to order It decaf and when I let the barista know they said no problem and made It accordingly. I thought that was kind that they didn't make It difficult. The wait was short and the bathrooms were super clean. The entire store felt airy and spacious and welcoming. I would definitely buy their coffee. I wish I had gotten an americano to really taste the beans. Highly recommend! Also street parking was easy and there is open seating and benches outside. Love this coffee shop! Great coffee, fast, lots of seating and it's super cute! I got a seasonal latte with maple syrup and cinnamon and it was super tasty. They have outdoor s at every table against the wall and it's a great place to hangout for a while. I wish they still had mugs but still 5 stars from me! read more

Whenever we are in the area, we always stop here for coffee! They have such delicious drinks. I love the iced chai tea latte. One thing I have to say is that both my mom and my sister can't have dairy so they always order oatmilk, which they have to pay extra for, but they are ok with that. But, they made my moms drink with regular dairy milk which she didn't realize till she drank it. So, be careful if you have allergies! Otherwise, this place has a very cute interior and we love it! read more

After our wonderful walk through Petoskey we stopes by for some coffee. I had coffee with honey and it was amazing. I am not a big coffee drinker but I loved this one. Place is very cute , popular industrial style. While we were waiting for coffee it became very busy. I would never drink a coffee from popular brands coffee shops but here I would stop by again. read more
One of the best coffee shops in Michigan. The place is beautiful and staff is super friendly. More importantly, they have exceptional coffee. Their coffee is just warm enough so you'd want to finish it earlier before it becomes cold. It might be a little bland for people who are used to strong coffee. In terms of the taste of coffee, I'd say it is bright and sparkling! It is a place to hang out with friends over coffee and get your phone charged as they have many outlets. It might not be suitable to get your work done due to the noise level but they do have extremely fast internet. Their barista was pretty kind and nice. On a brief trip through Michigan over fall break, we stopped at this amazing coffee shop. It has charming ambience and lots of comfy seating. What was the most remarkable thing to me was the Pumpkin Pie Chai latte. OH.MY.WORD!!! If you like or love pumpkin pie, this is for you because it's literally like sipping a pumpkin pie. The taste immediately invokes warm feelings of family gathering for Thanksgiving. So yummy and remarkable. If this coffee shop wasn't 14 hours from my house, we would be more frequent customers!! Looking forward to my next trip to Michigan to stop by here specifically. read more

Stopped in for mochas after hiking around mushroom houses. Ghirardelli choco too sweet and light for my taste but decent quality and macchiato okay but strong berry taste. I poured it afogato and combined well. Good service and ambiance. Clean. Recommend. read more
