Have recently changed to a different Laser Away location because of my experience at this location…read more Overall, the nurses and nurse practitioners who have done my laser services have been wonderful and I thank them! My experience was more so lacking and disappointing due to the customer service end of things. To start, on my 1st appointment was "tricked" into changing my package as a sale was going on. I was told that my legs would be FREE with the current promotion they were running. I was handed a tablet to sign but was not told or shown any price and didn't think at the time (which in hindsight I realize was naive) that I would be paying anything as I was told it would be FREE. When I called the center afterwards and Comenity - there was no way to undo this. So from the start, I was not happy but I still continued to attend the location afterwards - chalking it up to me being naive and not asking questions but the frustrations continued. Very often I would arrive to my appt and be told I would have to wait longer due to staff being out. I understand this happens but it was quite frequent and I would have preferred a call or prior notice. A lot of times I'd have other plans afterwards or work that would be affected. One time; I also wasn't even able to do all my services because my appointment time was delayed by so much. My last disappointment where I decided it was time to find a new location was back in February. As you know we've had a very harsh and brutal winter. This location opens at 10 and I had my appt at that time. I arrived 10 minutes early, which is standard for me and i believe the right thing to do. I arrived to the door the same time as a worker. She looked at me with a not so nice or approachable look and I said "Hi, I have a 10 appointment, am I too early?" And she said "yes!" And just let herself in- although there were two other works inside and a lobby/waiting area. I was definitely upset because it was freezing out and I could've been waiting inside. Initially I thought maybe this person was a manager or maybe needed time to get things in order before opening, but again, there were two other women sitting inside at the front desk. In addition, I come to find out she was one of the nurses - as she performed my services that day, which was so awkward. I was very upset after the interaction and thought it was very unprofessional and not a good example of customer service ESP considering the harsh cold and turning me away. But I am not a rude person and would never make a big ordeal, so I just took the mental note and as mentioned earlier this you could say was my final straw and I knew I needed to find another location. The main reason I am sharing my experience is so no one else gets conned into a "free" service and then be financially responsible to pay more. This is the most disheartening part of my entire experience. I understand that this not reflective as the entire company - as I had a great first appointment at another location.

I don't recommend CoolSculpting--or any services--at LaserAway. My appointments were rescheduled…read morethree times due to vague "staff emergencies," at both the Hoboken and Clifton locations. For the price, the experience and results just weren't worth it. My original appointment was scheduled for April 29, but got canceled due to a "double booking." I wasn't able to reschedule until a month later due to travel. That rescheduled appointment, now set for May 26 at a different location, also got canceled--again due to staff issues. (It also happened to be Memorial Day weekend, which made the situation feel even more avoidable.) I finally had my first session on June 6, over a month later than planned. The staff was nice, but honestly, the procedure was so basic I could've done it myself. The sales pitch made it seem like you needed a nurse practitioner to avoid risks like "polyps" or poor results, but the process was extremely simple and the difference was barely noticeable. Definitely not worth the hype or the price tag. I scheduled my second appointment for July 25, the earliest possible based on their 30-day policy--but surprise, it got canceled too due to another "clinical staff emergency." I was told one of the two clinicians was in a car accident (which is awful, of course), but it's pretty concerning that they only have two staff members handling everything. I'm now booked for August 7 in Hoboken. Today is July 24. Let's see if they cancel on me a fourth time. What started as something I hoped to complete by May might not even finish by August. Save your time and money--go somewhere private and more professional. This chain is just not it.

Today was the first time visiting this location and I just know this will be where I will be doing…read moremy remaining sessions. The place itself seems identical to the Williamsburg location but I like this one better. The receptionist was very friendly and helped me to schedule all of my appointments on the same date so I'm not coming to Laser Away a million times like I work here lol (not sure why they were scattered out to begin with) She also informed me of the update where we can be in the sun before/ after laser. I was concerned how was I going to be outside this summer with 8 treatments remaining. Glad it won't be an issue now. The woman who did my laser (I wish I would have gotten her name) was very informative and made me feel comfortable. This was my second session so I'm still pretty new. I added on a new service, my upper lip (because why be hairless everywhere else and still have a mustache?!) and the woman walked me through what it would feel like and even did a test on my neck before we began- I appreciated that. She was thorough and took her time making sure to get every spot. I already booked my next appointment and I can't wait to come back! I've seen amazing results after the first session so I can't wait to see if any hair grows back now.

However, when you have a complaint, no representative has an answer. I called three times to get an explanation of my services and a charge, and no one returned my calls. Instead, they emailed me, not giving enough information, and I decided not to follow up because I didn't want to get stressed with them and jeopardize my health condition. First, this is how it works with Laseraway. You must take a PatientFi loan if you can't pay the full amount. They don't tell you the interest on the loan. My interest on the loan is $625.38. The total price of my Brazilian armpit six sessions for both legs is $ 3,842.5, and your Cuchi will not be bold after completing your sessions; You will need to shape it. I understand that getting a laser treatment is a REDUCTION of your pupil's hair. To conclude, they're costly, have no follow-up, and don't embrace diversity. I don't recommend it at all. By the way, it's painful; don't you ever think you will feel a pinch as it is advertised on social media. Your cuchi gets red and swollen after the session, so think about it first.

I had something removed from my neck and he and his amazing team were there for me throughout the entire process. He's helped me with a few other concerns, and every time, I've felt totally confident in how he guides me and helps me understand my diagnosis. Every time I see him, the fact that I might have waited a bit in the waiting room goes right out the window! He has that ability to make you feel completely seen and heard and that's just one of his many gifts. I would highly recommend him. He's extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and won't stop until you are healed and happy! Bonus: The staff is awesome!

This is a shoddily-run McDermatology franchise that is blatant about its profit-before-patients…read moremodel. I went for very minor skin complaint and I'm appalled. I can't imagine trusting this place with something requiring more serious medical attention. Appointments are rushed, but I can deal with that because my issue was minor. My problems began when I needed to follow up with them. Good luck contacting these people. They use a communication app that isn't compatible with all phones -- phones that are compatible with every other app in existence -- and if it's not compatible with yours, your office is virtually unreachable. There's no patient portal accessible via computer and no phone number to the office, just a cell phone app that not all phones can access. So you call. When you call the number provided, you first communicate with an AI robot who understands maybe two key phrases. Then your phone call is routed to an offshore call center. That's when the real fun begins. The call center operators will blatantly fabricate answers on the fly in order to get you off the phone. They'll tell you your prescription has already been processed while you're looking at your pharmacy account which clearly indicates that the prescription is pending further action from your practitioner, a practitioner you can't contact because of the app you can't use and the office you can't contact directly by phone. They'll tell you that someone from the actual office will call you back. Days pass. The call never comes. So you call the call center again, and the whole fiasco repeats. These call center operators don't care if you don't get the medical care you need, and why would they? They don't work for Schweiger Dermatology. They work for an Amazon-style call center 8,000 miles away. Your potentially-serious medical complaints in need of potentially-serious medication may as well be a broken lamp to them. So after many wasted hours and days and still no medication - which again, isn't serious for me, but it MAY be for you if your condition is more serious than mine - you give up and you find a new dermatologist. But not before joining the chorus of other horrified former patients calling Schweiger Dermatology a profit-driven, corner-cutting scam masquerading as healthcare. Which is all it is.

This facility operates with what can only be described as grossly inconsistent professional…read morestandards. Despite enforcing a stringent $100 penalty for patient appointment cancellations or absences, they exhibited a remarkable disregard for reciprocal accountability when I arrived punctually for my scheduled appointment, only to be informed that "the doctor isn't here today." No prior notice was provided, no attempt at remediation, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. This asymmetric policy framework--wherein patient compliance is strictly monitored and penalized while the provider assumes no responsibility for its own operational lapses--raises serious concerns regarding professionalism, fair dealing, and the implied covenant of good faith. One might reasonably expect a "medical" establishment to demonstrate at least a baseline commitment to honoring appointments or, at the very least, to notifying patients of cancellations in advance. Failure to do so not only breaches patient trust but potentially exposes the practice to reputational risk and claims of inequitable conduct.
