We quickly reached out to them and to our surprise, they have the tandem bikes in stock for us to rent. Neither one of us had experience in riding the tandem bike so we thought it would be a fun experience for us. The staff at Uma bike rental were very professional and responsive. They gave us a full rundown and some useful tips on how to ride the tandem bike since it was our first time riding it. Their rental rates were exceptional in comparison to the Spin bikes. Our bike ride was very smooth because the staff took very good care of their bikes. We had so much fun riding the tandem bike for the first time and we absolutely enjoyed checking out all the wonderful Christmas lights all over Davis. We would absolutely rent from Uma bike rental again in the near future, and it is such a fun thing to do with your friends on a lazy Saturday weekend.

I came here to have the derailleur adjusted because the chain on a new bike I bought for my son keeps coming off when shifting. One quick look the guy (can't remember his name, but is a Filipino guy) at the shop noticed the chain was too long and needed to be cut. I believe that was $5 to do and then the to adjust the derailleur, it was going to cost $30 ($35 total). He said to leave the bike there and he will call later when it is completed. I decided to go grab some lunch while I waited for the bike to be completed. He called a couple hours later and said the bike was done and ready to be picked up. When I arrived he said the chain was bent in a spot, so those were the links he removed. He also said one of the adjustments on the derailleur was broken as the derailleur that came with the bike was cheap. He also made a few other adjustment to the bike for free which was greatly appreciated.
