This was one of our favorite parks on our 12 state road trip. Mark greeted us and was so friendly. The park is well shaded with level concrete pads. We checked in and left to have dinner with family. This RV park is a gem. The shady trees and friendly owners make this well-established park a must-stop. The owners are visible on the property and always helpful if you need something but not "nosy". The on-site propane and laundry is nice, plus the bath house. It is smaller, quiet and very clean. It's really well-situated in Waco and easy access into the park. The cement pads are very level and the park is pet-friendly. We loved Emily and Mr. Mark, all of the family is lovely and helpful. We will stay here again in the future. read more

Outstanding park. Not so big that you are just a number to them. Large trees at almost every slot. Owners who work the park personally and are meticulous about it. This place had so many "happy campers " that it took me a while to get a place. The internet/cable leaves a little to be desired, but I have my own set up and I am sure they will figure it out. Until my work here is done, they would have to drag me out by the hair to make me leave. read more

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was very shady and pretty with lots of trees and grass. Good level concrete pads. Family run with excellent customer service. Conveniently close to highway - we ran our a/c or a fan and weren't bothered by any highway noise. read more

Owner is very unethical & dishonest. He starts off pretending to be nice & accommodating then flips on you. He is a strange fellow to put it nicely. The RV park might be nice but walking on eggshells with him daily isn't worth staying there. There's many other nice places in Waco to park. I called and got information from a girl named. Emily gave me the information I needed and she was pleasant showed up a few minutes later after I found her she was in the park working greeted me at the propane station filled. My bottle was very polite. I will go back to buy propane. If and when i need more propane. read more

First of all, I will say I am not a customer, as in I've never stayed here. But hear me out, I've been panicking looking for an RV lot because I NEED to move up there soon. Although the Gentleman on the phone could not get me in here, every time I called, (and I called many times, I REALLY needed a lot) he took extra time to recommend near by RV parks that he knew had some vacancy. To me that is just outstanding customer service, but the catch is I was not even a customer. They were just providing a helping hand to someone in need. I unfortunately did not get the chance to do business with them, yet they still provided a service. Thank you. The park itself is very nice, nice facilities- concrete pads, picnic benches, grills, nice laundromat. Good location too. The only reason I didn't give more stars is because it's quite overpriced, also your pricing will be different depending on how much money they think you make. The owner has some strange rules that he doesn't follow himself. He's also a little strange himself... just call up and you'll know if this is a place you could stay at or not. I have only been traveling in my new RV for over a year, but have managed to visit quite a variety of RV parks. I came to Waco from Denver to visit the Chip and Joanna Gaines Empire. I was planning on staying at a place on the lake but it was closed because of flooding. I would say that wS a very lucky break for me. The park is conveniently located and getting to Magnolia Table and the Silos was very easy. Park Mark ( the owner) was so helpful and pleasant and funny. The park is so nicely set up under trees and on winding roads so u are not lined up like so many other parks. And marks office, that he built, is on the second floor overlooking tree tops. He is a drummer and he and friends get together up in his office to play music. I missed that but hopefully will get to see that next time I go to Waco! read more

The park itself is nice. It is not quiet due to the freeway, nor is there anything for little kids to do, which is fine. If I was just rating the park it would get 4 stars. I read a review about North Crest saying the park manager was rude and they had to walk on eggshells around him the whole time. We should have listened to that review and stayed clear of this park. He gave us a hassle about wanting to stay for the week after agreeing for one night. My husband was more than willing to move spots or if we needed to pack up and go a different campground we would. The manager huffed and puffed about it and said we could stay. Second thing that turned us off was that we have a washer and dryer unit. But because of our set up we usually put our dryer outside to vent. We tuck it under our slide out so it's out of the way and you can hardly see it. He came over and said we needed to use his units and shoved $10 into my husbands hand. Then was overly offended when he said we didn't need his money. No park rules or even map was made available to us. Seems to make them up as he went. Would not recommend and will not stop by here again. read more

North Crest RV Park is a great place to spend 1-2 nights or a long weekend getaway. Emily is a gracious host, very knowledgeable about the area (and Texas), and has a warm smile to greet you upon arrival and every morning thereafter. As for the function, each site has a very nice and level concrete pad; drive through options for larger motor homes; and large grassy side spaces between site for maximum privacy and layout for outside living. Dog friendly and quiet (although the close proximity to the interstate is noticeable, it does offer "white noise" and our goldens were not bothered by it). I rarely give 5 stars. This park, like every thing else is not for every one but it is better than many. I'm a big fan of concrete slabs. This park has many. The laundry is a little funky but easy for everyone to access. The roads are gravel but very smooth. Freeway noise is worse than some but railroad noise almost non-existent. I like trees and space between myself and neighbors. This park has both. I like outdoor picnic tables and BBQ's. This park had both, some like new. Easy access-- three roads/ driveways. Best access is off frontage Rd. The owner, Mark, is a prince. A very nice guy but not too serious or uptight. All in all I would gladly come back. Thanks Mark. read more

We live full-time in our RV and are staying at North Crest. We've been here a little over 3 months now and absolutely LOVE it. Park Mark, the owner and manager, has a heart of gold and works hard to keep his park well maintained and secure. This is the best park we've ever stayed at that keeps a marvelous balance between the full-timers and the short-term customers. As far as full-time residents go, this park caters to people who have to move frequently for their jobs and to retired folks. Mark requires that the RVs that stay here be clean, neat, and cared for (i.e., 10-year old rule). The park is quiet and friendly. No children live here, even though they are welcome guests during the summer, holidays, and weekends... very nice for grandparents. This park is the perfect environment for us. The sites are shady with incredibly huge level concrete pads for your coach, your vehicles, and a provided picnic table and BBQ grille. The free cable TV is piped directly in via Time Warner Cable and is of extremely high quality. The free wi-fi internet is also one of the best we've ever experienced at an RV park. And our Verizon 4G/LTE signal is very strong. The negative review for this park didn't say anything negative about the park itself, they just really didn't like Mark. And we respect that. Although this viewpoint seems strange to us since we think Mark is the greatest, its always possible that an individual may not appreciate him, or appreciate his quirky humor and viewpoint, or his way of explaining that the park isn't a place equipped to be a full-time home for kids. And, you know what? That's ok. Our perspective is that the people who stay at Mark's park are important to him. He eats, sleeps, and breathes this park and he's involved in every aspect. He is always here, doing something to care for, or improve, the park and help its residents. read more

It is very nice to have laundry and propane on site. The site has a very nice concrete slab with a table, grill and plenty of room to set up my outdoor living furniture. Easy on and off interstate access. Major retail and restaurants are very close. The park owner even offered to back my 43' toy hauler in and it was parked much faster than I could have done it. Plenty of shade and the park is very well maintained. Definitely a park I'll come back to. read more

Great place to stay. Just off the 35W. RV Park has concrete pads, some grassy areas around your site and the area is loaded with shade trees. Place is kept very clean. VERY NICE.
