Took my bike in for insurance and ended up being the best thing ever! Everything was explained to me so I could understand and not be worried about my Yamaha, I'll definitely be coming back for future maintenance!

Let start by saying I have followed this shop owner from his previous 2 locations in San Marcos. He quickly out grew the first location. I am glad he is in my own city now. I used to bring my bike there for service and always got a good deal. Once my headlight bulb went out and I purchased a new bulb from a local big name shop, it cost around 20 bucks. LeGrand said what are you doing take it back I have a few laying around the shop you can just have one. He even installed it for me. This is the type of service you get from a small mom and pop shop. This why my Bike and I come here for service and not the big chain retailers. I just got a screaming deal on a new front tire , my Bridgestone RS10 ,price so good I wont even mention it. They just had the 3rd bike night and it was as enjoyable as the last 2. Free food and sodas, chips, water ,raffles and games. I actually won a nice pair of Alpine Stars gloves at the last one. Also My buddy Eric W. bought a bike from here , he got a really good deal and he loves it. I will continue to bring my baby here for service, keep up the good work.

Headed to Motoconcepts for new Bridgestone S22's

Just got my 2007 GSXR 750 tires changed at Motoconcepts! The shop owner had told me about a sweet sale going on with Dunlop Q3+ but I'm not a big fan of that tire and wanted something that would last awhile longer. I had him order Bridgestone S22's for me. They even picked up and returned my bike while I was at work!! I got a nail in the tire 15 miles later. Not only did they have it fixed two days later, it was covered under warranty!! Couldn't have had a better experience.

    Shop is clean, organized

LeGrand and North County Moto is the bomb!! Sadly I was in a small accident with my cruiser, but there was $4K in damage. Had to find a really good shop that could bring my bike back to what it was... I spoke to a few, but no one had the knowledge and took the time that LeGrand did. So I went with him, they came and picked up my bike at my house! Then he worked with insurance and trust me, it was a ton of work since Covid made getting parts next to impossible. He kept me up to date at all times and also suggested this would be the time to uprade things (aftermarket) if I wanted to. He was right. I ended up adding a much louder horn, LED lights front and back and a different seat. The upgrades cost me very very little as he was very smart about working with the insurance company anyways. Picked up my repaired and in some ways new bike yesterday and could not be happier. From start to finish every single aspect of this process has been amazing. The care, the time the shop takes, the communication, and the extras were beyond anything I would have expected. Also I feel like I have a good friend and when I was at the shop LeGrand made suggestions and recommendations for parts, places to ride, and on and on. I would recommend him highly and would never even think of going anywhere else. Also, he is 100% committed to customer satisfaction so I don't understand how there ever could be an unsatisfied customer, he would do anything to make it right. He has pride in his work, his workers, his shop and reputation.

We were looking for a reputable business to take our brand new Harley to have customizing work done. Since it was brand new we wanted to make sure that it was going to be well taken care of. We visited a few places, spoke to a few owners/employees, and decided to bring our motorcycle here. So happy with our decision. They work on all kinds of motorcycles. LeGrand and Doug really treat all motorcycles as if it was their own. The shop is clean and organized. We stopped by a few times while our bike was in the shop, unannounced because we were in the area and every time we were welcomed in to see the progress. There is no smoke and mirrors. The service is impeccable. LeGrand is honest, knowledgeable, welcoming, and personable. When we are here we feel like family and not just another customer. Our motorcycle is always cleaned and looks fantastic when we come to pick it up. We have had an air ride suspension installed, new handlebars, and new exhaust, and will be coming back for all our motorcycle needs including maintenance. This will be the only place that we will bring our motorcycle. If you are looking for a place to take care of your baby without worries, this is the place.

My go-to shop guy for everything other than serious engine work. Friendly staff with a welcoming environment. He came out 16 miles for an emergency tow to his shop on his day off, and stuck around to help me evaluate damages after someone backed into me at a stop light. Definitely feel taken care of.

When I bought my cbr600rr I wanted to make sure everything was tip top and brought it to Legrand (owner) and he happily looked it over to give me piece of mind. Since then I've been back on various visits for tires, chain, and a crash protection install. The guys there do excellent work and happily answer my millions of questions. Never pushy on sales and are honest about whether your stuff needs fixing or not. As a newer rider finding a trustworthy shop is worth its weight in gold. Aside from their work they host bike nights and have a super friendly group of patrons that do group rides regularly.

Pic of his services... Looks like a mechanic shop to me...

Here is a follow up from my previous review. After Seeing the review, the service manager of the shop he took my bike to reached out to me and informed me of what really happened. I included the message below in the pics so people can read for themselves. But I will summarize. The shop he took it to never said the bike Was "100% good to go" as Legrand had stated. In fact the mechanic told Legrand the exact opposite. They did not even test ride it because the bike was deemed "unsafe." Legrand was told the bike was junk basically. BUT HE STILL SOLD IT TO ME UNDER THE PREMISE THAT THE BIKE WAS SAFE AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. The only problem was the carbs were gummed from sitting for two months. That was a lie. The bike had never even been test ridden by the mechanic at that point. All this guy does is lie, and hit on peoples significant others. In another picture below you will find where someone's significant other reached out to me and informed me of her experience with Legrand. I have blacked out the info for her well being as her significant other still hangs around with this creep. Also notice I was the first one to write a review about this shop. The other reviews came not long after my orginal review. I have also provided pictures to back up every claim I have made. Buyer Beware...

I worked with Kevin who I found honest, fair and upfront. I felt zero pressure, but only the willingness of Kevin to assist in me making the right choice that is good for me. He showed his extensive experience, dedication and care. Once a decision on the motorcycle was made (2022 KTM 390 Duke), and the finance was addressed (by him), then Marc from Sales provided me the guidance on the motorcycle and professionally answered all my technical questions. Kevin assisted in the delivery of the motorcycle to my location. It should be noted that I came with a plan to review other makes and visit other dealerships, but with Kevin and Marc I knew that I will buy my motorcycle at this dealership. So based on this special experience, I highly recommend NCY Motorsport, their trustworthiness, fair prices and their high level of service. It was a true pleasure working with this 'A Team'! Thank you!!!

The staff were super friendly, polite, and genuinely passionate about motorcycles. You can tell they really care about the brand and the riders who walk through the door. I used to own a Triumph Speed Triple, and it was an awesome machine. Triumph has always had that perfect mix of British character, performance, and style. Walking through the showroom brought back great memories. That said, I have to admit -- the MV Agustas they had there... wow. Absolute speed machines from hell. The design is insane, honestly even more striking than most Ducatis. Pure motorcycle art. Great bikes, great people, great atmosphere. If you're into serious machines and legendary brands, this is definitely a place you want to visit. One love.

I wanted to establish a relationship with a local Ducati dealer, found Moto Forza and asked them to…read morereplace a fuel level sensor on my bike . I dropped the bike off with Quentin, the service manager. I requested additional scope: powder coating rear subframe, the brake calipers, and installation of rearsets I had previously purchased. Quentin said 'powder coating was 3-5 days and he would "get the bike on the schedule" to install right after that. A week had passed, and asked Quentin to call the powder coater to get an update but with a sigh and then a long pregnant pause which I interpreted as his annoyance at my request. I never received an update and I think it was another 10-15 days. I requested an updated estimate several times from Quentin as to when the bike was scheduled to be completed, but again I only got a pregnant pause and then an annoyed and dismissive "I don't know...I'll call you when it's done" I reached out to Balz and explained during our call that the bike had been in the service department for nearly 8 weeks and I asked could anything be done to get it expedited sooner ro come pick it up. Balz just referred me back to Quentin. "I have one of my guys working on it with his extra time between other projects. I don't know when it wil be done but I wil call you when it's ready". I'm sorry, but that is not what "on the schedule" means. Another week passed, so I called and Michele in finance answered the phone. She said Quentin wasn't in and wouldn't be back until the following Tuesday, so another weekend would pass. Michele offered to step in. I called Quentin on Tuesday and he clearly sounded annoyed and said he was aware of my call to Michele and to Balz to complain, but I could come pick it up the next day. At pickup, I really started putting it through its paces on the ride home through the curves and heavy high speed traffic The next day, I was doing some work and leaning down to put some new decals on the bike and I immediately noticed that one of the brake caliper bolts was missing on the right front caliper which had fallen over and leaning against the brake disc. The other bolts on the left caliper I was able to loosen bolts as well with just my fingers. This sent a cold chill up my spine considering the real danger I was in on the aggressive drive home that evening and the thought that I might have an accident that left my 13yo Son without a Father. Quentin said the mechanic adamantly remembered torquing down the bolts on the brake calipers and that they would send "someone" to get the bike . I immediately became paranoid that my bike could have been sabotaged, so out of caution I called to make a report with SD Sherriff's Department about what was happening without making any official accusations until there was additional evidence to support , but just so there was a record of what happened should there be a need to escalate further I told Quentin not to come to my house or for him personally to interact with my bike when it arrived in the service department, so I loaded the bike onto my trailer myself the next day and when I arrived to Moto Forza, I spoke with the manager and Michele (who seemed visibly shaken and upset about me being there, even though I had only spoken to everyone in a calm and respectful tone the whole time). The manager suddenly took an aggressive tone with me and told me that they weren't going to work on my bike anymore and told me to leave. I said I wanted to speak to Balz and that I would not leave, but I would leave if they called the police and I received a formal trespass notice so that I had documentation entered into the legal system in addition to the report I had already made previously to SD Sherriff's department. So we did that and I left as I said I would. This all happened in the last 48hrs, but I honestly hope we eventually can rule out sabotage as a possibility, but I would think that Moto Forza would want to work closely with me in any case to determine the real root cause of what happened here and prevent it from happening in my again. It could have been something as easily correctable as an issue requiring retraining of the mechanic to verify and write down recorded torque readings on the work performed. I can't say honestly because Moto Forza doesn't seem to want to investigate this to prevent any similar incidents from happening to other customer getting work done in Moto Forza's service department. Has anyone else had an experience like this with Moto Forza? I am new to San Diego, so please reply and let's see what we can do to make sure riders don't get hurt or killed in the future. I attached here a short video of my brakes. I sent a message to Balz yesterday and offered to sit down with him to try and figure out what happened here. Please do the right thing here, Balz, and let's get this figured out as two civilized Men.
