Messaged North County Locksmith via the Yelp app, looking to have an unusual key duplicated. Tom messaged me back immediately, which is very rare these days, and if you are under a time crunch, is extremely helpful. I emailed Tom a picture of the key, and he told me that a special key blank AND a special cutting machine is needed to make that type of key, and although he did not have the machine (obviously there is very little call for this type of thing) he referred me to someone who did. Make that the *only* place in town that does! I SO appreciate Tom going out of his way to help me out. I actually messaged about 10 other locksmiths and 'key experts' on Yelp and ALL of the other 10 locksmiths either did not respond at all, or sent me a one word ("No!") response. There is a reason North County Locksmith has nothing but 5-star reviews! Tom is not only knowledgeable and professional, he very obviously cares about getting someone the help they need, even if it is not something he can do himself.
