Rather than addressing his own lack of technical knowledge he began blaming and berating the previous provider and everyone else involved. Needless to say, we are now hosting with a professional company, who completed all the transfers within an hour! Weldon PC does not have sufficient technical skills for business support or anything beyond basic skills. Beware!

I called about 3 computer repair service companies to try and get someone to please come out to my…read morehouse in north ridgeville and help me, I'm elderly and I can't just unplug my desktop computer to easily bring it into a shop, the first 2 places were either not willing or made it so difficult for what I was asking or simply didn't even call me back. So my third call was Computer Crisis in Avon and wow, picked up the phone right away, got me on the schedule later that evening. That alone spoke volumes. A guy named James came out, figured out what the problem was, unplugged everything for me and took it into their Avon storefront. I opted for the upgraded repair option because the computer was about 7 years old. He installed Windows 11 on it for me and got everything backed up and transferred for me. Had the computer back to me the following evening and showed me how to use the new operating system. 5 star service and now I got a new computer service company that's local to north ridgeville ohio. Not a lot of places out here and most of them are cell phone repair. Highly recommend!

Prior to leaving I requested a receipt, he said we don't do receipts and wrote his name, amount paid and date on a sheet of paper! Return the following day to now a phone that won't work with any LCDs and turn on! Owner looked me in the face to say "it's not his fault I took the risk when allowing them to fix my phone" . The "Owner" then handed my my phone back returned my money with an extra twenty for my trouble, while telling me to take it to apple store. Fast forward today took to Apple store to find out they didn't replace all the components, screws are missing and the heating elements are missing. This store basically gave me a shell of a phone and a $600 problem. I have to now buy another phone while still under contract with this phone! Do not go to this place! They won't return my calls and hangs up on me! They clearly are in the business of taking advantage of people!

Rick charged me $140 for a new screen. That same screen had multiple functional errors. Let's start with the fact that it was thick and didn't fit the screen, which messed up my touchscreen accessory. The camera looked dusty and adjusted my pictures to be super bright. Also, the screen's backlight didn't adjust to sunlight as the normal screen would, causing the battery to die more easily and faster. Then, after some time, the whole screen would jump while I was typing, so I got used to locking and unlocking my phone as a way to briefly fix it. Overall, it had multiple faults that it didn't originally have, which I thought was weird. Then, on January 28th, 2026, the whole screen went completely black. Randomly. Unfortunately, I moved out of the state, so I couldn't bring it in since I'd have a "warranty" with Rick. I took it to a new shop in my area, and they let me know that the screen used was a Dupe or a dupe of a dupe. It's made out of the country, and they explained it is a 3rd-generation fake screen and is one of the most terrible fake screens to put on a phone. The lighting was different than what I needed, and they even mentioned that those screens come with touchscreen accessory problems as well because it's not meant for my phone. Anyhow, I paid $160 for a new screen in a new place for a quality screen. Only $20 more for something that lasts. I am very disappointed that I wasted $140 here for a fast fix.

The business is in his house and the parking is around the corner on a side street. I missed it and had to turn around. The owner met me at the door because I told him I was coming, but I'm not sure I would have known what to do if I arrived and he wasn't there. I think you walk on the porch and ring the doorbell. (Or just call him) However, now that you have that info- you should be good to go. He guarantees his work- so I feel good about the work that was done. I'd go back for future cracked screen (though hopefully no more).
